Great transfers, friendly tour guide.

Seamless air conditioned and well organised transport. Ahmed, our tour guide, was friendly and helpful, and flexible when catering for our requests (especially when we had a baby in tow!). We felt we were in good hands for the entire tour. Thank you.

Interesting, accommodating and efficient tour

We had a wonderful stopover tour to the pryramids, Citadel and Old Coptic Cairo. Although the airport is not a normal pick-up and drop-off point, they organised it for USD 25 in total. What a pleasure! Ana, our guide, met us just outside the terminal building. We were unable to get WiFi to contact her, but she went the extra mile when she couldn't find us, and phoned us. From there, we drove through peak hour traffic. The driver (can't remember his name) was so calm and drove us confidently through all the 'bedlam'. He dropped us off at each stop, and then appeared again to pick us up in a flash - real VIP treatment. Ana was a great guide. She spent time explaining the history to us at each stop. She also gave us space to look around at our own pace, but was never far away to continue again when we were ready. I would highly recommend this tour to anybody.

Cairo highlights in a day

We had an amazing time exploring Cairo with an outstanding tour guide, Hadeer and our driver for the day, Mustafa. Highlights of the tour were the mosque, papyrus store and Kartoush engraving stores. Our guide also kept the many vendors at bay, giving us handy tips on how to maneuver tricky situations. Our guide’s deep knowledge, passion, and friendly nature made the experience truly memorable. Highly recommended!

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Giza?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
