Fantastic day in Cairo with Maddy

Maddy Tours gave us (my mom, dad and I) a private tour of about 7 hours in Cairo where we saw the pyramids, the Egyptian museum, a perfume shop and had lunch. He won all our hearts; my father with humor, my mother with his ‘laid back’ approach to us and mine because he had SO much knowledge about everything. He adjusted to our pace and felt like a friend from the very beginning. He was a good photographer, so now we have also documented our fantastic memories together - anyone who wants to experience Egypt with a local, and see the less tourist places and hidden pearls, of the otherwise tourist areas, should go on a trip with Muhammad/Maddy. We only have good things to say about him!

Exceptional

Had a day trip to see the pyramids with Mohamed! He was exceptional! So informative but made things fun too! Made sure we had time to get pictures and memories , and made us feel super safe!! There were opportunities to have your own time too which was great! The bus journey was super long - but totally worth it. Got given a little bag of refreshments too to keep us going!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! It was truly a pleasure spending the day with you at the pyramids. I’m very happy you enjoyed the tour, the history, and the fun moments we shared together. Creating great memories and making my guests feel safe and comfortable is always my priority. I hope to see you again in Egypt for another adventure! 🇪🇬✨

Dream of a lifetime Visit to The Great Pyramids of Egypt.

I want to express my gratitude to "Maddy Tours" for the outstanding service they provided during my recent trip to Egypt for 3N/4D. The entire process, from initial booking to the completion of the tours, was smooth and stress-free. The agent, Maddy himself was incredibly knowledgeable and responsive, guiding me through every step and ensuring all my needs were met. The hotel chosen for me to stay, the Jumeirah Pyramids View inn was clean, well-managed, served daily with sumptuous breakfast Included and is perfectly located in the heart of Giza, with an amazing view of the Majestic Great Pyramids which I have been dreaming of to see since I was a little kid. Maddy Tours made this tour a once in a lifetime experience for me! All the tours were well-organized, with prompt and professional driver. Maddy also provided me a Superb Professional Egyptologist guide - Mr. Nadder for a job well done! 👍 Efficiency ✅ Punctuality ✅ Professionalism ✅ are the hallmarks of their service. And as a solo traveller, i felt very safe and well taken cared of throughout my entire trip. I had a fantastic, hassle-free vacation and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Egypt! 💯

Full Day Tour to Cairo: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hurghada.

How much does Full Day Tour to Cairo cost?

+

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hurghada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Full Day Tour to Cairo take?

+

Plan for about 20 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hurghada is not rushed.

Is Full Day Tour to Cairo worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hurghada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Tour to Cairo?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Full Day Tour to Cairo suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 20-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Full Day Tour to Cairo?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hurghada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hurghada and add a light layer if any part of the 20-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Full Day Tour to Cairo start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hurghada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hurghada?

+

On Outty we rank every Hurghada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hurghada: Luxor Valley of the Kings & Tutankhamun Tomb Trip, Orange Bay Island, Luxury Cruise to Orange Bay and Hula Hula island Trip. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hurghada?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hurghada?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
