SCAMMERS - tried to send us with other people on a ‘private’ tour

Africa Top Tours should be renamed Africa’s Top Scammers! The owner waited until my booking was non-refundable to inform me that if I wanted my tour to be ‘private’ e.g. just your party to travel it would cost more and you’d need to pay in cash on the day. They then told me I’d also need to pay this because I requested to be back at the airport earlier. This was not true because I’d asked to be back in Durban by the latest 19:00, we were being picked up at 05:30 which would have made this tour way longer than the specified 12 hours. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR unless you want to be scammed! I thankfully got my refund from Viator, complete waste of time otherwise.

Awesome tour

This is an absolutely awesome tour. The views are amazing and once you get to the top and into Lesotho, the landscape changes completely. Unfortunately, we were outrageously overcharged for transportation. Everything else was perfect.

Response from the operator: We are glad you enjoyed the tour, Thanks for the good review.
