Delivered on our trust! Excellent service!
Not only did we book this full day Rome tour, but we also trusted the company with transportation from Rome airport to Ravenna for our cruise, transportation and one shore excursion during our cruise stops, pickup at the cruise port and into the city center, and then the full day Rome tour. I was nervous to basically put our entire trip except the cruise itself into the hands of one company, but I am so glad I did. Everything was completely seamless and the drivers and guides were wonderful. Customer service and communication during planning and the trip itself was fantastic. Don’t hesitate to trust your special trip to this company!

Full day with expert driver
Marco did an amazing job keeping our day coordinated and on track. We saw a lot in our day. Marco helped get us where we were needed to go and explained things very well. Very professional. Very timely. Calm driver. Did not feel rushed. Knowledgeable and engaging. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing a driver around Rome/Liverno.

Thanks for a great day!
Carlos was our driver/guide. There can be no easier way to see highlights of rome. He will discuss details of sites and drop you off then come back to pick you up. It was 90 degrees and my wife has some mobility issues so having a clean van with good ac made the day super easy. I would absolutely do this tour again
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. We are delighted that you chose to tour with us and that your experience met your expectations. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and will be shared with Carlo and the rest of our team. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Italy in the future for another memorable experience. Warm regards, Karolina

Great trip
We had a great day in Rome with tour of the colosseum, Roman forum, and Vatican. Livio was our driver and was great, even took us to the famous keyhole to kill some time first thing in the morning. Chiara was our guide and was so great! We couldn’t imagine our day in Rome without her. Her knowledge did not go unnoticed, she knew an answer to every question and had never ending knowledge. It was very hot that day and she found all the spots of shade around the Colosseum for us. Overall great trip and would highly highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you had such a fantastic day exploring Rome. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with both Livio and Chiara, they will be thrilled to know they made your experience so special. From the unique stop at the famous keyhole to Chiara’s incredible knowledge and thoughtful care in keeping you comfortable on a hot day, it’s wonderful to know these details made a lasting impression. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back to Italy for another unforgettable experience! See you soon , Ciao ! Karolina Discovery Tours

2 Days in Rome
This vacation was epic thanks to Discovery Tours and Guliana, Karolina, and Gilberto. We saw the Coliseum, Vatican and Sistine Chapel. Everything was taken care of for us. We had a delicious lunch by the Coliseum. The next day we visited the villages on Lake Bracciano. We had lunch at Porticciolo, which was so savory and delectable. Gilberto was an outstanding knowledgeable guide. He made sure we went to everything possible in 2 short days. Thanks again, Discovery!!!
Response from the operator: Greetings! Thank You so much for your very kind review. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your time with us. We sure hope to see you again in the near future. If there's ever anything we can do for you, you know where to find us! :)

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full Day Tour of Rome: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.
How much does Full Day Tour of Rome cost?
+
Prices start at $533 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Tour of Rome take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.
Is Full Day Tour of Rome worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Tour of Rome?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Tour of Rome suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Tour of Rome?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Tour of Rome start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rome?
+
Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rome?
+
April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rome?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
