Great way to experience Oaxacan towns and culture
An incredibly full and fun day. Our guide, Jared, and our driver were excellent. Jared was fun and also deeply informed about every aspect of Mexico we were curious about. We loved the ancient tree, the chocolate making, the mystical mountainviews, the brilliant weaver and dyer, the fantastic lunch, the glorious swim, and the astonishing process of making Mezcal. Everything about the trip was generous At the end of the trip Jared asked us if we felt more Mexican now. The answer is yes, we feel we got beyond the surface and got a better understanding of the life, spirit, and art of Oaxaca. A+!

Oaxaca All Day Tour
We had a great trip to see the sites in the Oaxaca area and experience Oaxacan culture. Jose was a great and gracious host . And Juan Carlos our driver brought us everywhere safely..The entirety of the tour was explained in Spanish and English and was presented very well by Jose. Thoroughly enjoyed our adventure and would do it again. Gracias. PM

Disappointing
It was difficult to make contact with the tour company to confirm hotel pick up point. Only managed to do so after having raised the matter with Viator Help centre. The minivan for the tour was old, the seat upholstery torn and pretty cramped with hardly any room between the seats making it difficult to get in and out of the van especially if you’ve been unfortunate to get the last seats as we did! The group consisted of Spanish and English speaking passengers and though the tour guide, Luis spoke in both languages, it felt like he explained in more detail in Spanish. Also, it was very difficult to hear what he was saying as we were sitting right at the back and even after making him aware of this, he made no attempt to speak louder. The van did not have a microphone facility considering the number of passengers. It was the same when we visited the artisan craft workshop - the English explanation was brief and poorly delivered. All in all it is not a tour company I would recommend.

The tour was well organized. The driver was very good, felt safe especially on dirt roads Lunch was great.
Lucas was a great guide although my husband who doesn’t speak Spanish wished he could have explained the various sites more.

Scam
This is a scam. Never showed up. Never responded. I waited for 30 minutes. I called them on WhatsApp and normal calls. I messaged multiple times and and via the Viator app and now one responded. I found the real tour operator at the zocalo and they told me that the number and address is all fake.

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full Day Tour of Oaxacan Wonders: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oaxaca City.
How much does Full Day Tour of Oaxacan Wonders cost?
+
Prices start at $650 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oaxaca City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Tour of Oaxacan Wonders take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oaxaca City is not rushed.
Is Full Day Tour of Oaxacan Wonders worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oaxaca City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Tour of Oaxacan Wonders?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Tour of Oaxacan Wonders suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Tour of Oaxacan Wonders?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oaxaca City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oaxaca City and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Tour of Oaxacan Wonders start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oaxaca City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oaxaca City?
+
On Outty we rank every Oaxaca City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include AUTHENTIC OAXACA CULTURAL FOOD TOUR, eat like a local., Hierve el Agua 2.5 hours, Mitla, Tule, Rugs and Mezcal for a Day, Traditional Oaxaqueña Cooking with Grandma's Recipes. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oaxaca City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oaxaca City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
