Amalfi
Italy's oldest maritime republic and symbol of the Amalfi Coast, Amalfi continues to enchant visitors just as it did in the days of the Grand Tour. Just over three square kilometers of devastatingly beautiful scenery at the mouth of the Valle dei Mulini: this is Amalfi, a town that opens like a fan towards the sea, sheltered from behind by the steep slopes of the Monti Lattari.

Li Galli
Sitting just opposite Positano, these islets are both nearby yet inaccessible and have been known for their wild beauty and captivating history for millennia. The Li Galli archipelago is composed of three islets - Gallo Lungo, La Rotonda, and Isola Dei Briganti and today are privately owned and accessible only to invited guests.

Blue Grotto
This is the most famous sight on Capri, where visitors from around the world form long queues to get a peek inside for just a few magical moments: we're talking about the Blue Grotto, of course. This natural cavern is 25 meters wide and 60 meters long, with a tiny entrance less than a meter high. To enter, visitors lay back in wooden rowboats and glide through the low cave mouth.

Faraglioni
Capri's most iconic sight is the dramatic Faraglioni, three towering rock formations which jut out from the Mediterranean just off the island's coast. A snapshot with this breathtaking group of sea stacks in the background is a must for all visitors to Capri.

Grotta Verde
The Green Grotto is one of the most exciting inlets on the island of Capri, where, thanks to the reflection of light among the rocks and the seabed, the emerald green color of the water inside is so intense that it creates a strong desire to dive into those waters.

White Grotta
It is one of the most suggestive caves on the island of Capri. The White Grotto is accessed through a steep staircase carved into the rock, directly from the sea. Once you reach the top, you can admire, among the white limestone rocks, the strong contrast between the brightness of the cave and the blue of the sea, making this place surreal thanks to the dense and suggestive stalactites and stalagmites.

Joyful day on the water!
Boat Day is the Best Day! We experienced a great day in the waters off the coast of Capri to Amalfi. The experience included open waters as well as swimming. Matteo was great at navigating the bumpy Capri port and found an authentic lunch spot. He accommodated our desire to go to the Green Grotto as well as many other sites.

A Perfect Day on the Amalfi Coast – Pure Magic!
From start to finish, our day on the boat was absolutely unforgettable. The experience exceeded every expectation — luxurious, relaxing, and full of breathtaking beauty. The boat itself was pristine and elegant, with every comfort thoughtfully provided. Cruising along the Amalfi Coast felt like a dream, with stunning views around every corner. The service was exceptional — professional, friendly, and not only highly skilled but also genuinely welcoming and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed, shared local insights, and added special touches that made the day feel truly personal. If you’re thinking of booking this experience — do it. It was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. We’ll never forget it. Grazie mille for such a perfect day!

Full Day Tour of Amalfi Coast and Capri: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amalfi.
How much does Full Day Tour of Amalfi Coast and Capri cost?
+
Prices start at $3198 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amalfi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Tour of Amalfi Coast and Capri take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amalfi is not rushed.
Is Full Day Tour of Amalfi Coast and Capri worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amalfi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Tour of Amalfi Coast and Capri?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Tour of Amalfi Coast and Capri suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Tour of Amalfi Coast and Capri?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amalfi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amalfi and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Tour of Amalfi Coast and Capri start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amalfi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amalfi?
+
On Outty we rank every Amalfi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hands-On Cooking Class & Farmhouse Tour on the Amalfi Coast, Amalfi Coast Boat Rental: Explore, Swim, and Relax at Your Pace, Amalfi: Kayak-Snorkeling to Pandora Cave Hidden Beach & Aperitif. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amalfi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amalfi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
