Cocoa farm tour: Once at the farm, you will chat with the farmers to share your life experiences, followed by a locally prepared lunch. After lunch, the plantation tour will begin as one of the farmers will explain all the plants and fruits he has on the farm and will let you taste all the fruits he has available in this season. After the tour, you will experience yourself the process of making your own chocolate paste and hot chocolate in the traditional manner.

Silvio is not only incredibly kind and professional, but he also has a deep passion for sharing the rich culture and history of Peru. From the awe-inspiring salt mines and ancient ruins to majestic temples and sacred sites, Silvio ensured we experienced everything we hoped to see—and so much more. His knowledge is truly impressive, and he explained each site with insight and reverence that made the journey both educational and deeply meaningful. Thanks to Silvio, we walked away with a much deeper appreciation for Peru’s heritage. The entire experience was humbling, beautiful, and beyond anything we expected. Peru is a stunning country, full of life and history—and Silvio brought it all to life for us. He exceeded our expectations a million times over. We cannot recommend him highly enough!

A unique and enriching experience
An amazing experience, David the guide a genius and super-predisposed all the time. Generosity and attention a 1000. To the farm where we went we carried out the tour or where you learn from different plants of herbs and spices, fruit trees and the best the tour and gathering of cocoa beans pears finish on the roast and pasta, where we taste it with different fruits and spices of the area.

Beautiful, informative, welcoming, delicious
This was a surprise highlight of our trip to Peru. We didn't really know what to expect, especially since we visited during the rainy season. David, who coordinated and led our tour, warned us that the coffee cherries would not be ready to harvest but my wife and I both enjoy coffee so we figured we'd still go even if it was just to try some local coffee. The tour turned out to be so much more than that though. David and the Perez family were welcoming and knowledgeable. They fed us and walked us through both traditional and modern ways of harvesting and preparing coffee. They talked about the history of the region and the farm and served us different varieties and preparations of coffee helping us understand the differences in flavor and profile the different beans and approaches offered. The round trip out to the farm is long but we slept on the way there and took it easy, stopping to take pictures of the gorgeous landscape on the way back. David also gave us recommendations for the rest of our time in Cusco that shaped the remainder of our trip. This was a unique and wonderful experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Cusco.

One of the most memorable, meaningful experiences we had in Peru
This was one of our favourite days during our two week trip to Peru last month. Getting to spend time with a traditional Peruvian farming family in the rainforest and make coffee with them was so good! The family were lovely people and very kind and their granddaughter was the sweetest little girl. Omar was an excellent guide, his English was great (which helped a lot) and his close connection/interests with the family and the farm was very evident. It felt really good to spend time with them all and learn about the local, Peruvian ways of living and farming. Easily one of favourite days and we would 100% recommend this tour for anyone wanting to meet and connect with local people, whilst also getting hands on with coffee and farming etc.
