Take-san was an excellent...

Take-san was an excellent and professional guide. He was very prompt on our pick up and created a smooth experience taking our family to see the snow monkeys. Going in the summer there were fewer tourists and we got up close to many monkeys that were not afraid to be around humans. Very nice experience for a full long day from Toyko. I would strongly recommend.

You should go to Snow Monkey Park

We were very excited at the scenery of wildlife in Japan. In order to take many photos, there was no time to rest. Will aim at world known photo contest in next time to visit Snow Monkey Park.

That amazing encounter with the Snow Monkeys!!!

Japan has very multi-faceted sceneries, from mountainous landscapes to sandy beaches, from forests to volcanic areas. Visiting these different areas is important for international visitors so as to understand more Japan. Our trip to the Jigokudani Yaen Kōen (aka Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park) to encounter the Snow Monkeys bathing in the onsen as well as the shopping @Karuizawa Outlet Mall were exceptional moments. There were lots of contrasts during this trip. The transition from a 1600m-walk in the snow to reach the 834mforest, which is the paradise of the snow monkeys to the bustling and dynamic modern department stores, designed for shop-till-you-drop moments, was successful and fascinating. A unique experience that could be only fully lived in Japan. Our driver, Take is a very friendly and helpful person who has made our dream to catch a glimpse/to have a full view of the Mount Fuji 4th station @2020m, the pirate boat trip on the Akashi/Ashinoko Lakes and the ride to the volcanic area as well as the black egg come true during our trip to Japan. Our warmest thanks to Take for having safely taken us to these wonderful places and made memorable and precious photos for us.

Response from the operator: Lyra-san and Manitra-san ! It's been a while. And thank you very much for your writing to this review. I really appreciate it very much. It has passed more than one month since we traveled with to the Snow Monkey Park and Mt.Fuji, on the new year days of 2020. How rapid time goes by. I guess that you kept exploring Japan and other countries until the last moment. I believe that the travel would be a good memory for you two. And it will be my turn to be guided by you. Because Madagascar is among the most attractive countries for me. I believe we can meet again some day. Best regards, Take P.S. The photo on "duw1203" is splendid !

Full Day Snow Monkey Park Tour, From/To Tokyo, 2-12 guests: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tokyo.

How much does Full Day Snow Monkey Park Tour, From/To Tokyo, 2-12 guests cost?

+

Prices start at $137500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tokyo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Full Day Snow Monkey Park Tour, From/To Tokyo, 2-12 guests take?

+

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tokyo is not rushed.

Is Full Day Snow Monkey Park Tour, From/To Tokyo, 2-12 guests worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tokyo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Snow Monkey Park Tour, From/To Tokyo, 2-12 guests?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Full Day Snow Monkey Park Tour, From/To Tokyo, 2-12 guests suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Full Day Snow Monkey Park Tour, From/To Tokyo, 2-12 guests?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tokyo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tokyo and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Full Day Snow Monkey Park Tour, From/To Tokyo, 2-12 guests start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tokyo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tokyo?

+

Tokyo is less a city than a stack of neighborhoods with completely different opening hours. A guided food crawl through Shinjuku's Omoide Yokocho gets you past the no-tourist curtains, while the day trips west to Hakone and Fuji need an early start to be worth the fare. Our ranking weighs guide quality heavily here, because in Tokyo the guide is the product. On Outty we rank every Tokyo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tokyo Shinjuku Chopsticks Making Class, Tokyo : Asakusa Chopsticks Making Class, Shinjuku Night Food and Bar Crawl. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tokyo?

+

Late March to May for blossom, October to November for clear Fuji views. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tokyo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
