Ulun Danu Bratan
Ulun Danu Beratan : iconic Temple on Lake Beratan in the Bedugul Highlands The shrines are known as merus and are square structures with brick bases and multiple pagoda-style thatched roofs; the number of roofs reflects the status of the deity, and is always an odd number. Pura Ulun Danu Beratan is one of the nine ‘Kahyangan Jagat’ temples on Bali. The temple complex consists of five various shrines dedicated to other Hindu gods as well. Built in 1633, the temple is used for offerings and ceremonies dedicated to the Balinese water, lake and river goddess Dewi Danu, due to the importance of Lake Bratan as a main source of irrigation in central Bali. The 11-storey pelinggih meru in the complex is dedicated to Shiva and his consort Parvathi. Buddha‘s statue is also enshrined in this temple. This temple is also called the “Bali temple on the Lake” because it looks as if it is floating when the Bratan River rises.

Best experience with our driver-guide
Widi(Dekwidi), an extraordinary boy. I have never seen so much calm, strength, respect and desire to help. Every day he drove us for 10-12 hours with a permanent smile on his face without getting tired. At the same time, he was our complete guide, he constantly talked to us about faith, language, nationalism, the way of life of Balinese families. Recommendations for traditional food, cheap shops, places and points of interest to visit. What impressed me the most was a moment in a market where he was full of energy at 5 pm after running 10 km in the morning, driving for 9 hours, climbing and descending hundreds of stairs with us to temples, beaches and places to visit, to which I asked him: Where do you get so much energy from, man? To which he answered directly without hesitation: With you I feel like I'm on vacation with my family, not at work. You have all my respect and admiration. I wish you much success and luck!
Response from the operator: Dear Christian, Thank you so much for this heartfelt review! It is truly rewarding to hear that Widi made such a profound impact on your journey. Widi is a fantastic example of the Balinese hospitality we strive for. We are incredibly proud of his "extraordinary" energy and his dedication to sharing the nuances of our faith, language, and culture. Hearing that he treated you like family rather than just clients is the highest compliment we could receive; that genuine connection is exactly what makes a trip to Bali special. I will personally share your high praise and "admiration" with Widi. Knowing his hard work and permanent smile were so appreciated will mean the world to him. We wish you all the best and hope to see you back for another vacation with your Bali family! Warm regards, Sagara

Wonderful Bali short trip from Ngurah
Due to my flight schedule I had 13 hours of layover in Bali so thought to get around and explore Bali for the first time. Ngurah was assigned as my driver and he was very friendly, professional and helped me a lot in this trip. He not only just drove me around, but also talked about a lot of different stuff about Bali, Indonesia, Hindu, Karma, etc. He tour guided me in Uluwatu temple and showed me around other places. Also I didn't have time to plan places to go so I ask Chatgpt for some suggestions and he then help to recommend some other good spots to fill up the time. Thanks Ngurah for giving me such a smooth and wonderful experience. I had learned a lot from you and the trip even if it was short. Suksma🙏 I don't like putting my pictures online but Ngurah deserves some good reviews. Highly recommend!

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full Day Private Water Temples Tour in Bali: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seminyak.
How much does Full Day Private Water Temples Tour in Bali cost?
+
Prices start at $42 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seminyak usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Private Water Temples Tour in Bali take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seminyak is not rushed.
Is Full Day Private Water Temples Tour in Bali worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seminyak, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Private Water Temples Tour in Bali?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Private Water Temples Tour in Bali suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Private Water Temples Tour in Bali?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seminyak can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seminyak and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Private Water Temples Tour in Bali start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seminyak within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seminyak?
+
On Outty we rank every Seminyak experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Bali Waterfalls: Tibumana, Tukad Cepung and Tegenungan, Bali Instagram Tour: The Most Scenic Spots, Ubud Hot Springs and Waterfall Private Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seminyak?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seminyak?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
