Ulun Danu Bratan
Ulun Danu Beratan : iconic Temple on Lake Beratan in the Bedugul Highlands The shrines are known as merus and are square structures with brick bases and multiple pagoda-style thatched roofs; the number of roofs reflects the status of the deity, and is always an odd number. Pura Ulun Danu Beratan is one of the nine ‘Kahyangan Jagat’ temples on Bali. The temple complex consists of five various shrines dedicated to other Hindu gods as well. Built in 1633, the temple is used for offerings and ceremonies dedicated to the Balinese water, lake and river goddess Dewi Danu, due to the importance of Lake Bratan as a main source of irrigation in central Bali. The 11-storey pelinggih meru in the complex is dedicated to Shiva and his consort Parvathi. Buddha‘s statue is also enshrined in this temple. This temple is also called the “Bali temple on the Lake” because it looks as if it is floating when the Bratan River rises.

My experience was great. My driver, Tara, was very friendly and professional, driving safely everywhere :) The ride was very pleasant, with air conditioner, stopping when I needed to and we also had very interesting conversations. I recommend.

Excellent Private Car & Driver Service in Bali
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Private Car & Driver Service in Bali I travelled to Bali with my husband and two children, including our 4-year-old, and booked a private car and driver service for 3 days covering Central, North, and East Bali with our own customized itinerary. From the booking stage, I shared my requirements, especially the need for a patient and family-friendly driver since we were travelling with young children. The team understood our needs and arranged everything very well. The vehicles were clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition. The AC worked perfectly, which was much appreciated during our long sightseeing days. Both drivers spoke English, were polite, professional, and always arrived on time for pickups. Due to Bali traffic, we often exceeded our booked hours during drop-offs. However, the additional charges were communicated clearly in advance, and the team was very cooperative and transparent regarding payments, which I greatly appreciated. We had the same driver on Days 1 and 2, and a different driver on Day 3. Both were excellent. What stood out the most was their patience. At no point did they rush us, even when travelling with children can sometimes slow down the schedule. They allowed us to enjoy each location at our own pace and made the experience stress-free. As a thoughtful gesture, they also provided three complimentary 500ml bottles of water. This was honestly one of my best experiences hiring a private car service in another country, apart from using Uber, Grab, or Gojek. Their professionalism, flexibility, and customer-focused approach made our Bali trip much more enjoyable. I hope they continue providing the same excellent level of service and wish them all the best. We will definitely look forward to using their services again on a future visit to Bali. NOTE - This review is based entirely on my personal experience. Highly recommended for families visiting Bali! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
