Couple's weekend
Giustino is a knowledgeable and kind person; we spent two days together satisfying every need and request of ours, everything was beautiful, he speaks Italian very well, and he is truly a person with a big heart. I highly recommend him. Our driver Tarek was also very kind; he took us everywhere without hesitation, sticking to all our schedules and waiting for us for hours in the sun, always with a smile and making sure everything was to our liking. The wonder of the Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara and the Memphis complex
This was our first day of two planned excursions together with the guide Giustino and the driver Tarek, and we had a really great time. They are two people we feel we can recommend without hesitation. Giustino, besides being very knowledgeable, is an extremely pleasant and easygoing person. Throughout the day he was always available, even stopping at the most beautiful and characteristic spots to take some photos for us and allow us to keep a nice memory of the trip. He speaks Italian very well and, if necessary, his English is even better. Tarek won us over with his friendliness and helpfulness: always smiling, attentive, and above all, very skilled at navigating the chaotic traffic of Cairo. It is an aspect you will highly appreciate, especially if Egyptian traffic makes you a bit anxious; having someone at the wheel you trust really makes the difference. With him, we felt calm and safe at every moment. The tour began at the step pyramid of Saqqara, stunning in its raw beauty and set in a context that reveals itself as a splendid testament to a history calculated in thousands of years. It is unforgettable. We also entered the pyramid with the starry sky decoration, a claustrophobic but highly rewarding experience; Giustino was skillful in taking us early in the morning in the “cool” and without other people. We enjoyed the place; in other conditions, it would have been much more difficult. The tour continued to Memphis, where we chatted a lot about the Quran and the relationship between Islam and the paganism of the pharaohs. Everything on the balconies that circled around the giant overturned statue of Ramses II. Experience of great value. Short stop at a manual Egyptian cotton carpet factory, very interesting both for the production part and for the exhibition part, with more money in our pockets we would have surely gone crazy. The tour ended at the Giza complex, near our hotel by the way. The pyramids exert an ancestral charm and being right there after having seen them in practically every way between documentary films and history books is something indescribable, they certainly retain the charm and power of the entire civilization that wanted their creation. Literally bewitched by the magnificence. We started well, it will be difficult to outdo ourselves tomorrow, but with Giustino and Tarek taking us where it counts we are confident we can do even better
