About this experience
This is the tour that combines very interesting cultural heritage of the area around Skadar Lake as well as the natural beauty of the Skadar Lake National Park. There is a huge number of significant cultural and historical monuments, monasteries, old villages with authentic architecture, medieval fortifications in a small area. You will get to know the character of the local population, the culture of living on the shores of the largest lake in the Balkans where fishing and wine production are particularly interesting. A special stamp on the rich cultural heritage is given by the wonderful nature and spectacular landscapes of the Skadar Lake National Park. We recommend very much a relaxing ride on the lake in a small boat, during which you can enjoy watching numerous birds in one of the most beautiful and important nature habitats in Europe. Of course we won't miss the chance to try some of the best Montenegrin wines in the authentic ambience of a local winery.

The medieval capital of Montenegro was built in the 15th century on a hill in the immediate vicinity of Lake Skadar. Virpazar
The charming little town on the shore of Lake Skadar was once an important trading post, and now it is the most visited destination of the national park, where most boat cruises depart. It is the venue of probably the most popular traditional festival dedicated to wine and bleak fish.
Pass by without stopping
Godinje
In terms of architecture, probably the most impressive village in Montenegro. With its connected and densely packed houses, architectural details, babbling streams, small wineries, it represents a special cultural but also gastronomic experience. Due to weather conditions and limited offer, wine testing can sometimes be organized instead of in the village of Godinje in another nice local winery.
120 minutes here
Skadar Lake National Park
Just 20 minutes away from Podgorica there is Skadar Lake, the largest lake in the Balkans, the area proclaimed national park, enlisted as Ramsar wetland of international importance, famous for its birds( about 270 species), fish, water lilies, rich cultural heritage, charming villages and the best Montenegrin wine. We will be driving around the lake, have a short walk in the charming settlement called Vranjina, enjoying the view form nice viewpoints and optional beautiful boat ride among lilies and birds that we recommend very much.
