Lagos
Visit to Lagos Municipal Market and to the viewpoint to admire the Marina and Meia Praia Free time for walk and for lunch (One and a half to two hours). We will give tips regarding local restaurants due to the diversity of tourists and habits. After lunch meeting point: Statue of D. Sebastião at Praça Gil Eanes Guided visit on foot, through the center of Lagos, passing by the Slave Market (the first slave market in Europe), and Santo António Church (18th century - a single piece of architecture). Get to know the Arch of Saint Gonçalo Arch (a historic gateway to Old Town Lagos), and the statue of the same saint, where you can enjoy an ideal setting for photos (Meia Praia, Praia da Batata and the small fort of Ponta da Bandeira). Brief visit to Praia do Pinhão and Ponta da Piedade (where you can admire the lighthouse and the the cliffs with hidden beaches) Please note that entrances in Museums/Castles/Fortresses are optional and not included.

Sagres
Visit to the village of Sagres: Praia da Mareta, Pousada and the Port surroundings. Entrance to the fortress of S. Vicente (the most southwestern point in Europe), where the most powerful lighthouse in Europe was built - Range of its light = 59 km. Entrance included. Snack time (Café do Forte closes only after sunset (optional). Passage by Sagres Fortress / Fortaleza de Sagres ( important military fortification from the 15th century). The entrance is optional and not included.

Amazing knowledge and personalised service
We are just back from a couple of weeks in the Algarve and whilst there we did a couple of tours. This is the second time we have used Johnny after a visit 2 years ago, we had no hesitation rebooking for this summer and we were not disappointed! Our first trip took us to a beautiful waterfall and natural springs and a town within the nature reserve as well as a trip to Faro, including the beautiful cathedral. Our second trip was out to the Wild West! This was definitely not your typical tourist destination. There were cliffs, valleys, beaches and sand dunes. What we love about going out on trips with Johnny is that he listens to what we enjoy and tailors the day to us, he takes it at our pace and does not rush us through places to get to the next one! He makes the trip to suit our needs. Which are not always traditional! His knowledge is also amazing with so many stories to share at each destination! There is never dull moment and he knows how to get good photos! When we first looked at using a private tour I thought the prices would be crazy expensive and that it would be way out of our budget but we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable they were! Throughout each trip, he communicated in advance to ensure we knew what would be needed and during the trips the car was spotless and he kept us hydrated. Meals were not included but he always gave multiple suggestions and what each would benefit us, including dealing with challenging dietary requirements. We also had a swing by the chemist as B had got a splinter; Johnny was not phased by making the detox, helped with translations and fully understood that it was not something we could ignore. We honestly feel that nothing was too much for him! If you are going to the Algarve, then I would 100% recommend chatting to Johnny

Five stars without hesitation!
My wife, our two kids (11 and 9), and I had an absolutely wonderful day touring the Western Algarve, visiting Lagos, Sagres, and Burgau. What made the experience truly special was our fantastic guide, Johnny. Johnny was professional, personable, kind, and incredibly attentive to our family. He was especially wonderful with our children, making sure they were comfortable and engaged throughout the day. He shared fascinating historical information about each place we visited without ever making the tour feel like a lecture. We also really appreciated that Johnny gave us plenty of free time to explore and enjoy each destination at our own pace. He was an excellent and safe driver, and the Sprinter van was clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition. Johnny went above and beyond to make our day enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable. He was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal, and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring tour guide.

Amazing experience!
We had such a wonderful experience with Johnny as our private tour guide in the Western Algarve! From the very beginning, he was incredibly friendly, easy to communicate with, and so easy to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable about every area we visited and did a fantastic job making the experience both informative and enjoyable. Johnny also went above and beyond by giving us wonderful recommendations for the following day, which made the rest of our trip even better. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and wants them to have the best experience possible. If we ever return to the Algarve, I would absolutely book another tour with Johnny. He was amazing, and we couldn’t recommend him highly enough!

3 days of great tours
We traveled as a family and group of 7. We did three full day tours with Johnny. All of us were extremely happy with Johnny. He is very knowledgeable and accommodating especially since I had my son who is 11 and very picky with food. Johnny would ensure we went to spots that worked for our group,he helped us set up transfers and even many extra stops for us like getting groceries. If you are looking for someone who is personable, flexible and kind book with Johnny.
