The Great Pyramid: It is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids of Giza plateau and the only one to remain intact from the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Good but....
MTS, the agency taking care of the airport hotel transfer when we arrived in Hourghada, offered us this excursion on sale at 270 Euros pp. The hotel's Smile Tours office at 300 pp then Internet at 210 pp. We therefore took this last option via Whatsapp. Except that when their employee came to collect, we were charged a 2.5% surcharge for payment by credit card, although it was not mentioned when we asked if we could pay this way by message. Surprise on the receipt, MTS and not Smile Tours!? When we arrived in Cairo around 7:30 a.m., the guide was waiting for us and we were able to start the reserved visits after a coffee stop before the museum opened. Interesting museum then in addition a cruise on the Nile for an amount requested by the guide of 23 pp while the agency had written us 10 or 15 pp. We told our contact who ultimately gave us 15 pp but not for the planned duration of 40-45 min. We did max 20 min.! The visit to the pyramids, also including a small carriage ride, cost 50 Euros more with the cruise. The last stop was for the oils... Then the driver without the guide took us back to the airport approx. 3 p.m....while the day was supposed to last a total of 14 hours! In summary, the excursion was good, the lunch not bad and apart from the fact that the schedules were not respected apart from those of the plane, we were disappointed with this "scam" aspect and the "harassment " well known in Arab countries.

It was a funny day
Really we enjoyed that day to Cairo by flight from Hurghada, Pyramids and Sphinx were fantastic, tour guide was helpful and knowledgeable launch was extremely delicious, We highly recommended recommend this trip.
