Well worth it, fun and great locations.

3 of us had a great time on this Barossa tour. Jeff our driver was informative and a safe driver, the rest of the fellow drinkers on the bus were fun which made for a fun day. 4 wineries plus Maggie Beers was enough for the day with a couple of standout wineries, lunch we got to pick from a decent list of options. All in all we had a fantastic day.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re really glad you enjoyed your experience with BOS Tours Adelaide. It was a pleasure having you on tour, and your kind words mean a lot to our team. We hope to welcome you back again in the future!

Not the best experience

We didn't have a very pleasent experience unfortunately. We organised a group tour of 10 people including kids. First thing, our tour guide asked if we'd like to cancel the Viator booking and give him a reduced amount, cutting the business off. From the get go we've been hushed by our tour guide because we were speaking in our native tongue with the comment of "practice your English". We were very taken aback by this unfortunate comment. We spend most of the day with inappropriate jokes (even though we had kids with us), misogynistic comments and unprofessional attitude. We were told that the itinerary on the website was not fixed. Whenever we asked where the next stop is, we've been given vague answers. When we asked when the drop off time will be, the answer was "whenever I get tired" by our tour guide. We had a lovely tasting at Chateau Yaldara, however the other locations we visited didn't fulfill the expectation.

Response from the operator: My customers on this tour did NOT fill my expectations… ??? Kids were great we had lots of laughs.. sorry you have to be brought up by parents like that … Paul

Absolutely fabulous Tour

We had a private tour personalised to our needs based on our request. It was an amazing day taking in Hahndorf and Barossa valley thanks to Paul’s planning and the wonderful driver and guide Gerry who picked us up on the dot. She was so knowledgeable witty and funny, full of anecdotes about the region. She went out of her way to fulfill all our requests and made sure we had a wonderful time. We had more than a full day’s worth.

Response from the operator: She’s great isn’t she ? Everyone loves Gerry thanks for your great review Paul

Full-Day Private Barossa Valley Wine Bus Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Adelaide.

How much does Full-Day Private Barossa Valley Wine Bus Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $1285 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Adelaide usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Full-Day Private Barossa Valley Wine Bus Tour take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Adelaide is not rushed.

Is Full-Day Private Barossa Valley Wine Bus Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Adelaide, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Full-Day Private Barossa Valley Wine Bus Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Full-Day Private Barossa Valley Wine Bus Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Full-Day Private Barossa Valley Wine Bus Tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Adelaide can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Adelaide and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Full-Day Private Barossa Valley Wine Bus Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Adelaide within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Adelaide?

+

On Outty we rank every Adelaide experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Barossa Small Group Tour: Wine tasting, Lunch & Chocolate, Discover Barossa: 4 Wine Tastings, Gourmet Lunch, and Hidden Gems, Adelaide Highlights, Hahndorf & McLaren Vale Wine Tasting and Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Adelaide?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Adelaide?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
