What you'll see and do
Valley of the Kings
Your guide will begin by picking you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza in an air-conditioned car. From there, you will travel to the Cairo airport to be flown to Luxor. Upon your arrival, your guide will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name. In Luxor, you will visit the magnificent Valley of the Kings, the original burial site of the boy king, Tutankhamun. Here, the magnificent tombs were discovered carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs. You will have the opportunity to visit three tombs; the three tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian government to preserve them from the large flow of visitors and are therefore rotated throughout the year.

Well organised
We are a family of four. The Luxor trip was very well coordinated and organised right from hotel pick up, flights, tour till the same day return drop off at our hotel. The organiser had continuously liaised with us even before the trip to ensure the flights and tour were according to our convenience, he worked hard to procure a flight of our choice. Would definitely recommend, but please go when the weather is not too hot 😊.

Beautiful sites in Luxor and very accommodating tour guide!
Booked this one day tour from Cairo. No issues with the flights and scheduling. Our driver was on time to pick us up to and from our hotel. Our tour guide was extremely friendly, adaptive, and accomplishing. Unfortunately my fiancée got food poisoning from the Pyramid Valley hotel restaurant and was in extreme pain. Our tour guide took us to a pharmacy to get some medication and adjusted our tour schedule. She went the extra mile to make sure she was safe and healthy. To make up for lost time, she cancelled our shopping excursions which was okay with us because we already went on multiple tours and stopped by souvenir stores. Instead of missing out on seeing the sites, we still managed to cross off our bucket list. Valley of the kings, the Karnak, and Luxor temple were beautiful and incredible! Also our guide did a good job of keeping away the hordes of annoying merchants looking to sell you taxi services, foreign exchange, and anything else under the Sun.

Excellent Job!
There is no doubt that this company will take care of you. They are punctual and dedicated to you having a great time. Every aspect of the trips (I did two) was professionally ran. The booking agent, the drivers, and the guides. All well done! Note: please beware of price gouging and guide kickbacks on where they take you shopping. Be price conscious and don’t pay inflated prices. Be willing to walk away. I felt taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge when it came to making purchases. Lesson learned. If I did this again, I would avoid purchases and visit the marks in Cairo solo.

Full-Day Luxor Private Tour from Giza by Plane with Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.
How much does Full-Day Luxor Private Tour from Giza by Plane with Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full-Day Luxor Private Tour from Giza by Plane with Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.
Is Full-Day Luxor Private Tour from Giza by Plane with Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full-Day Luxor Private Tour from Giza by Plane with Lunch?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Full-Day Luxor Private Tour from Giza by Plane with Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full-Day Luxor Private Tour from Giza by Plane with Lunch?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full-Day Luxor Private Tour from Giza by Plane with Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Giza?
+
On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pyramids Sphinx Camel ATV Bike Shopping and Nile Dinner Cruise, Cairo 8 Hour Private Tour of Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum Nile Felucca or Bazaar. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Giza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Giza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
