    Fab - definitely book

What a great way to see LA. We absolutely wouldn’t have seen as much of this beautiful city without A Day in LA. Key was our tour guide and they were funny & insightful throughout our trip. It was great how Key shared their own experiences of living in LA as well as pointing out all the key highlights. I was nervous about whether we’d get value for money but I shouldn’t have been. It was a great day. Stops - Santa Monica / Venice Beach / Rodeo Drive / Farmers Market - lunch / Griffith Observatory / Hollywood Boulevard

Response from the operator: Thank you Mrs K. for this Fabulous review of your day in LA with us! We love that this tour provided you with great overview of Los Angeles and that you felt that this was worth the cost. Your kind words for Key means so much to Key, as she is always inspired by her guests to share her as much of the LA's beautiful highlights she possibly can in a day! Thank you again, and we wish you many more safe and fabulous journeys ahead! — A Day in LA Tours! 🌴🚌

Essentially an Uber with Movie Facts and Q&A - pick up drop off service every 30 minutes.

Think of it like an uber that tells you random movie facts. Driver was really friendly, had water for days but not really worth the money. The moment you stopped you had no idea where to look, nothing was really pointed out as attractions in the area and you had less than half hour in the area before you had to be back on the bus. It’s literally just an uber to the place and jump on/off every half hour. Driver also nearly left without another person who was on the bus with us - another passenger had to flag this before we left. If you’re wanting to truly explore and spend some time looking around - this is not the tour for you. This feels more like a “taster” to say you’ve been to the places listed but you really don’t have any time to explore or do much more than wander up the street and back.

Response from the operator: Thank you Chloe for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found your driver to be friendly and that the bottled water was a plus during the day. We do understand how the format of the tour could feel a bit like a ride share, however, visiting all of these highlights individually by rideshare would typically cost several times more than our tour. Our tours are designed to give guests an overview of many of LA’s featured highlights in one day, with about 30–40 minutes at each stop to explore on your own. We also apologize that it seemed a guest may have been overlooked before departing one of the stops. We’re glad they were able to rejoin the group, and we will certainly speak with our guides to help ensure this doesn’t happen again. We’d truly appreciate the chance to learn more about your experience so we can continue improving. Please feel free to reach out to us at info@adayinla.com. Thank you again for your feedback. – A Day in LA Tours

If you only have one day, do this!

This was a full day. You see a lot! The hotel pick up driver was by far the best part. It made the day worth it. He went out of his way to stay the day off right!

Response from the operator: James, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your recommendation. This truly means a lot to us! We’re so glad to hear that your tour experience offered you plenty to see and that your day started off right from the very beginning! Thank you again! Wishing you great and safe travels ahead! - A Day in LA Tours! 🌴🚌

Full-Day LA Iconic Sites Tour From Hollywood with Six Stops: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Angeles.

How much does Full-Day LA Iconic Sites Tour From Hollywood with Six Stops cost?

    +

Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Angeles usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Full-Day LA Iconic Sites Tour From Hollywood with Six Stops take?

    +

Plan for about 7.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Angeles is not rushed.

Is Full-Day LA Iconic Sites Tour From Hollywood with Six Stops worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Angeles, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Full-Day LA Iconic Sites Tour From Hollywood with Six Stops?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Full-Day LA Iconic Sites Tour From Hollywood with Six Stops suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Full-Day LA Iconic Sites Tour From Hollywood with Six Stops?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Angeles can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Angeles and add a light layer if any part of the 7.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Full-Day LA Iconic Sites Tour From Hollywood with Six Stops start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Angeles within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Los Angeles?

    +

Los Angeles rewards travellers who cluster their bookings by geography rather than by theme. Studio tours and Hollywood walks sit inland, the Malibu and Santa Monica coast runs west, and Griffith Observatory and the canyon hikes work best at dawn or dusk. We weight transport clarity in the ranking here: whether pickup is included changes an LA day more than the tour itself. On Outty we rank every Los Angeles experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hollywood Sign 2.5-Hour Tour with Comedians and Their Dogs, Los Angeles Hollywood Sign Hike: Front, Behind, and Expert Guide, Los Angeles Original 90-Minute Walking Tour to The Hollywood Sign. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Angeles?

    +

March to May and September to November, for clear air and open canyon roads. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Angeles?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
