Unprofessional, hostile, poor communication, and misleading
I traveled from Amman and proactively messaged before the tour start time explaining I was sorting transportation logistics, as Careem does not operate this route and Uber is extremely expensive. I clearly stated I would likely arrive around 3 PM and that I was mainly interested in the camel ride and Bedouin camping. Despite this, no response was provided until after 1 PM, well past the scheduled start time. Only after I requested a refund due to the lack of communication did I finally receive a reply. What followed was deeply unprofessional. Instead of addressing the communication gap, the booking manager sent a hostile and accusatory message, accusing me of dishonesty and claiming the guide waited “until midnight” — something that was never communicated to me and contradicts the scheduled itinerary. Customer service matters, especially when travelers are navigating long-distance logistics in a foreign country. Clear communication and basic professionalism were completely absent here. The tone of the response alone is reason enough to avoid this operator. I would strongly caution other travelers: if anything deviates from the plan, expect blame rather than support!!!!
Response from the operator: Good morning dear travelers, We have to inform that the review of this traveler is not honest at all. This person has received all the information about how to get to our camp. She was very bad organized and try put on us her bad logístics organization. We informed her at all times. She never came to our camp, our guide was waiting for her, she never left Amman. It is not true about the timing she is giving, we were in touch a few days before, so what she is explaining about no answers when she contacted us by 13pm is unreal, and she was in Amman, by 13pm, so it was too late also to start the tours. And the last thing, we have all the messages sent to her and we are going to send them to Viator managers. Thank you very much and we would love to see you all this new season

A true Wadi Rum tour to remember
Mohammad was my guide for the tour. He was amazing. We started the trip with a nice welcome in the office with some tea and then headed out for our tour. He was very welcoming and hospitable with me and the other person who booked. He even made us lunch out in the desert when we got hungry! It’s a great experience to be with a native of Wadi Rum. It’s amazing how he knew all the roads, areas to stop and enjoy great views from and even enjoy more tea with the locals of the area after a mini hike. The camp was also great and we had an amazing chef named Salazar. He made us a delicious local meal named Kabsa and chicken that was cooked underground for a while. Both Mohammad and Salazar joined us after dinner with a campfire and more tea. We had an amazing view of the Milky Way and could see the stars clearly at night! No going to another location to view the beauty of the desert. The room was cozy and I even had my own bathroom, which was nice. It does get a bit cold this time of year and they had blankets, which I didn’t use at first but then was cold at night. This kept me warm. This was truly a buck list experience of a life time for me. I’ll definitely try to come back to Jordan and book with them again!

My trip to the Wadi Rum...
My trip to the Wadi Rum desert was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to Mohammed, our amazing tour guide. From start to finish, he was incredibly attentive and made sure every part of the experience was authentic and meaningful. We visited several stunning spots throughout the desert, each more breathtaking than the last. One of the highlights was learning about Bedouin life in a truly authentic way, something you don’t get from every tour. Mohammed was always happy to share stories and insights, making the whole experience feel very personal. The sunset in Wadi Rum was magical, and the overnight stay was just as impressive. I had my own private tent with an en-suite bathroom, including a private toilet, which added a great level of comfort to the adventure. I also booked a camel ride through them, which was a fantastic way to explore the desert, and they even helped arrange a private taxi to Aqaba, which made my onward travel smooth and easy. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Jordan, especially with Mohammed as your guide!

It was a really fantastic...
It was a really fantastic program. Our guide Muhammad was very considerate and made sure we didn't get tired, and he provided us with sufficient explanations and points to appreciate. After the sun goes down, the sunset and dinner are the highlights. The dinner in particular is very well organized. The campfire that follows helps to cherish the beautiful memories of the desert. The accommodation and breakfast are also no-frills.

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full-Day Jeep Tour in Wadi Rum with Overnight Stay: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Aqaba.
How much does Full-Day Jeep Tour in Wadi Rum with Overnight Stay cost?
+
Prices start at $43 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Aqaba usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full-Day Jeep Tour in Wadi Rum with Overnight Stay take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Aqaba is not rushed.
Is Full-Day Jeep Tour in Wadi Rum with Overnight Stay worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Aqaba, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full-Day Jeep Tour in Wadi Rum with Overnight Stay?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full-Day Jeep Tour in Wadi Rum with Overnight Stay suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full-Day Jeep Tour in Wadi Rum with Overnight Stay?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Aqaba can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Aqaba and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full-Day Jeep Tour in Wadi Rum with Overnight Stay start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Aqaba within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Aqaba?
+
On Outty we rank every Aqaba experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Diving Experience in The Heart of Red Sea in Aqaba, Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour + Overnight & Dinner in Bedouin Camp, Diving, Snorkeling & Leisure Cruises by Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Aqaba?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Aqaba?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
