Excellent

Two intense and wonderful days, here nature is imposing and leaves you breathless, breathtaking views and truly pure beauty without deception, a tour among the islands aboard a comfortable sailboat with unforgettable fish lunches thanks to Lu and Ale, a wonderful couple who hosted us. It is what it is

Look, it is not a bad tour, you see the Caribbean, it is beautiful and it is true that you visit 3 islands plus the one for lunch (by the way, delicious). The islands are beautiful, wild, crystal-clear water and such, but underwater things are quite sad. Little coral and in very poor condition, the poor thing. Even so, some island for a good while of snorkeling, and the sunken ship is good to see while snorkeling.

Amazing day on the beach.

The transport was excellent mini bus with lots of leg room. Our guide was very polite and spoke good English and helped with translations.

Pretty but could give this trip a pass

There was good communication from the tour company ahead of time, hotel pickup was seamless. What was not communicated well was the length of drive time to the dock, and then also the length of time on the boat to the Islands. The description indicated 12-14 people on the boat, there were 18 plus 3 crew which made it exceptionally crowded and it was a long and uncomfortable ride both directions given the amount of water coming on board. Nothing was able to stay dry, a dry bag would have been a good item to bring. Once on the first Island, it was a challenge to determine when lunch was (which was included) and how long we had owing to language barriers. The beach itself was lovely albeit crowded. Lunch was good. There was not really any snorkeling on the tour - the last two stops snorkels and masks were provided, although the locations and number of visitors meant there was not anything really to see. If you want true snorkeling this is not the tour for you. Changing facilities were very limited on the dock, but if you go figure out a way to get changed into dry warm clothes because the drive back to Panama City is long and was very uncomfortable because we didn't change (see earlier tip re: dry bag.) Other than lunch, food and drink options are somewhat limited and pricey so bring snacks/beverages with you. Note that we have done several similar trips in Panama and other countries that provide better value for money and are less touristy.

Response from the operator: Hello! Thank you for your time. We are very sorry there were some misunderstandings during the tour, as we tried to clarify the entire itinerary beforehand. The tour is shared, both by land transport and by boat. We have several boats with different capacities. The San Blas Islands are very popular on weekends and get quite crowded; weekdays are slightly less busy. We feel the tour wasn't entirely to your liking, and we will take your feedback into account to continue improving.

Lovely photos but terrible commute

It was a nice experience but I would not re visit. The people are friendly and helpful but the journey to and from was the downfall for me. Not suitable for young kids. I went with my 4yrs old son and my father. They both vomited their life out. They should do small flights or helicopter trips. Persons will pay the fee to avoid 4 hours drive and close to 1 hour by boat. It’s like close to 10hrs traveling.

Response from the operator: Hello! We're so glad you enjoyed the islands. We're very sorry about your experience on the road during your trip, as travel is currently only possible by 4x4 truck and speedboat.

Full day in San Blas Islands visiting 3 - 4 islands + all inclusive: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Panama City.

How much does Full day in San Blas Islands visiting 3 - 4 islands + all inclusive cost?

+

Prices start at $135 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Panama City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Full day in San Blas Islands visiting 3 - 4 islands + all inclusive take?

+

Plan for about 15 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Panama City is not rushed.

Is Full day in San Blas Islands visiting 3 - 4 islands + all inclusive worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Panama City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Full day in San Blas Islands visiting 3 - 4 islands + all inclusive?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Full day in San Blas Islands visiting 3 - 4 islands + all inclusive suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 15-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Full day in San Blas Islands visiting 3 - 4 islands + all inclusive?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Panama City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Panama City and add a light layer if any part of the 15-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Full day in San Blas Islands visiting 3 - 4 islands + all inclusive start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Panama City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Panama City?

+

On Outty we rank every Panama City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tour to a waterfall and Embera village with lunch included, Panama Canal With Entry Ticket & City Tour: Old Town & City Views, Legends of Casco Viejo Tour: Hidden Gems with Panama Vibes Tours. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Panama City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Panama City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
