Far beyond expectations!
A wonderful trip, family group of 7 people, 3 generations. Due to the size of the group, we very conveniently did the 4 tours with Chaska Andina Travel in a private format (Humantay Lake, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Rainbow Mountain). The spectacular scenery is the same for all tourists, the difference is in who guides you to experience it in the best way, and hence our enormous satisfaction in having had the accompaniment of Samuel and Edu, owners of this local Cusco agency, and at the same time fabulous guides. They gave us the best service in punctuality even when the pickup time was around 5am, with the goal that we would make the most of the day with peace of mind, and get the best photos. They provided us with excellent information, both regarding our daily program and the different attractions visited. They selected excellent places to offer us the included lunches. All the agency's services were excellent, but especially their people!

Amazing experience
The experience was amazing! Everything was explained clearly from the start — the journey itself, where we would stop for breakfast, how much time we had, and what would happen once we arrived at the destination. When we got there, part of the trip involved a hike, but we were also offered the option of renting horses to go up to the lagoon (around 90 soles). The young woman in charge of the horses accompanied us the whole way to make sure we were safe. At the lagoon, we had plenty of time to enjoy the view and take pictures. The guide even helped us take some photos. After that, we were taken to lunch before heading back down. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. In terms of cost and value, it was absolutely worth it — I would definitely do it again.

An unforgettable experience with the best guide in Peru
We did three tours with Samuel and couldn't be happier with the experience. We visited the Mountain of Colors and the Red Valley, the Humantay Lagoon, and also took a two-day tour of the Sacred Valley, which was the highlight of our trip. Samuel is not only a super professional and organized guide, he is also a great storyteller, he knows the local history and culture very well, and he has a great eye for photography (thanks for so many amazing photos!). In addition, it helped us to get a spectacular dome accommodation in the mountains, an unforgettable experience that we would not have found on our own. The food on the tours was delicious, and at all times we felt cared for and accompanied. We would recommend Samuel one and a thousand times. If you’re looking for an authentic, well-organized experience with a very special touch, he’s the right person!
Response from the operator: ¡Muchísimas gracias por tomarse el tiempo para compartir su experiencia con nosotros! Nos alegra enormemente saber que disfrutó de su visita

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full Day Humantay Lagoon Tour from Cusco with Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does Full Day Humantay Lagoon Tour from Cusco with Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Humantay Lagoon Tour from Cusco with Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is Full Day Humantay Lagoon Tour from Cusco with Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Humantay Lagoon Tour from Cusco with Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Humantay Lagoon Tour from Cusco with Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Humantay Lagoon Tour from Cusco with Lunch?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Humantay Lagoon Tour from Cusco with Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
