Mua Caves
The Mua Cave is an attractive limestone cave situated under the foot of Mua Mountain. When coming here, tourists will see a big stone dragon on the mountain peak. Hence, Mua Mountain is also called with the name: “Ngoa Long” which means “a lying dragon”. According to Vietnam’s history, during the war between Vietnam and Mongolia, the Royal Family Tran moved the capital – Hanoi at present, to Ninh Binh. Mua Cave used to be selected as an entertaining place for the King under the Royal Family Tran. The King came here to see beautiful dancers dancing in the cave. That is the reason why it has the name “Mua Cave” today (which means “Dancing Cave” in English). Furthermore, there are different interesting stories about Mua Mountain. 16.00: Climbing up almost 500 steps of Mua cave area, you can reach to the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here 17h00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi. Best experience
It was the best experience with Mr. Hung. He guided us really well throughout day at Ninh Binh. All activities+ limousine mentioned in package was perfect. Mr. Hung speaks good English and throughout the day, the way he explained about each spot was simply superb. Its value for money.Definitely go for it.

Must do activity.day trip from hanoi
We did one full day tour of nihn bin which included tam coc,hoa Lu, Mua caves . Our guide was Hung and he was wonderful . Very funny,interactive and also knowledgeable. He kept us entertained all through the day and boy oh boy when it came to physical activities like cycling or climbing the 500 steps at Mua caves he was so much faster Nd better than us. He made us try local specialities of food, clothing and even activities and made our trip well rounded.. the car provided was very comfortable and driver was very professional. I would definitely recommend this trip if u have an extra day in Hanoi. Cheers hung!!!

Fun Day In Ninh Binh
Very comfortable vehicle and friendly guide Hung took us to Ninh Binh. We had an active and fun day together whilst learning lots about the history of Vietnam. Excellent lunch was provided and catered very well to the vegans and vegetarians in the group.
