Excellent Day Trip with VN Lotus Travels – Highly Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We recently booked a full-day tour to Vung Tau through VN Lotus Travels and it was one of the best decisions we made during our Vietnam trip. From the moment we were picked up until we were dropped back, the entire experience was seamless, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. Our tour guide, Leo Pham, was outstanding. He was excellent in service, always smiling, and brought such a jolly and enthusiastic energy to the day that made everything feel special. Leo was incredibly flexible, adjusting the itinerary based on our interests and pace without any hesitation. His deep knowledge and passion for Vietnamese history and culture really shone through – he shared fascinating stories and insights at every stop that brought the places to life. Whether it was explaining local traditions, recommending the best spots for photos, or ensuring we had everything we needed, Leo went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable experience. The Vung Tau day trip itself was perfectly organized. We visited beautiful beaches, historic sites, and enjoyed stunning coastal views, all while feeling completely taken care of. The transportation was comfortable, the timing was spot-on, and there was a great balance between sightseeing, relaxation, and delicious local food stops. If you’re looking for a reliable, customer-focused tour operator in Vietnam, I can’t recommend VN Lotus Travels enough. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made our day in Vung Tau truly memorable. A big thank you to Leo Pham and the entire team – we’ll definitely be booking with you again on our next visit!

A nice trip away from Ho chi minh city!!
It was nice day trip to Coastal city of Vung Tau. I enjoyes the sightseeing , whale temple, hiking up the Jesus Statue ( view worth it the hike) and relaxing at the famous coffe shop there. Other than the hike which was optional. It was a relaxing trip...free ocean air. I am also surprise of all the new contruction and development...which may rival Danang for coastal destination. If you need a break for the busy city....this is a must tour. Tour guidr Aimond was very welcoming and knowledgeable of city and culture.

The experience was once...
The experience was once in a lifetime. I do recommend that you try get some rest during the van ride. Use the beach pitstop to relax and chill, save your energy for the walk up to the Christ Redeemer Statue. The views are spectacular and good. Note: if your going to do the Christ Statue climb, you need to wear modest clothing bottoms that cover your knees and tops with sleeves. If you wish to climb inside the Statue you need to wear pants. There is a store at the site to purchase a tshirt and pants. Also wear clothing that is breathable and good walking shoes to help tackle the heat and climb ☺️

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full Day Heritage Tour in Vung Tau: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ho Chi Minh City.
How much does Full Day Heritage Tour in Vung Tau cost?
+
Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ho Chi Minh City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Heritage Tour in Vung Tau take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ho Chi Minh City is not rushed.
Is Full Day Heritage Tour in Vung Tau worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ho Chi Minh City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Heritage Tour in Vung Tau?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Heritage Tour in Vung Tau suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Heritage Tour in Vung Tau?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ho Chi Minh City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Heritage Tour in Vung Tau start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ho Chi Minh City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
On Outty we rank every Ho Chi Minh City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tour From HCM, Cu Chi Tunnels Small-Group Tour: Vietnam War Underground Network, Cu Chi underground tour - Learn Vietnam war with others. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
