    1. Pigeon Valley

Pigeon valley is located between Göreme and Uçhisar. It takes its name from thousands of dovecotes carved into soft tuffs since ancient times. Although they can be found all over Cappadocia, they are especially plentiful in this valley. Pigeon Valley is a wonderful place where some of the cave houses are painted white to attract the birds. The valley is also famous for its beautiful landscapes.

The people of Kaymakli (Enegup in Greek) village have constructed their houses around nearly one hundred tunnels of the underground city. The inhabitants of the region still use the most convenient places in the tunnels as cellars, storage areas and stables, which they access through their courtyards. The Kaymakli Underground City has low, narrow and sloping passages. While the underground city consists of 8 floors below ground, only 4 of them are open to the public today, in which the spaces are organized around ventilation shafts.

    CAPADOCIA, A DREAM COME TRUE.

We really lived a fairy tale of another time. Intense and carefree days, where energy, feelings and emotions have made our days beautiful “photographs” to carry inside our hearts. A deserving thanks goes above all to the delicacy, professionalism and their cultural baggage, to Murat Kaya Tunç and to his father as he calls him Ali Tunç, our guides. Son and Father who knew with a sentimental intelligence, make us fall even more in love with the Turkish people and Cappadocia. Murat and Ali “gave” us a trip inside a region where history came out of their mouths with a perfect Italian full of “good” perfumes. Thank you guys, thank you Cappadocia! We will return.

Response from the operator: Innanzitutto, siamo molto contenti che abbiate apprezzato sia il nostro tour che la nostra guida. Grazie per la vostra gentile recensione. Speriamo di rivedervi durante il vostro prossimo viaggio in Turchia
