Five star experience
In August, at the peak of the season when everywhere is crowded and even people working in tourism can seem a little worn out, creating an experience like this is no small achievement. What I loved most was the atmosphere: relaxed, warm and genuinely enjoyable. Everything was so well organized that you could simply let go, stop thinking about logistics and just enjoy. We were treated to five-star service from start to finish, with excellent communication and real attention to detail. Our guide made the experience even better, knowing exactly where to take us for the most authentic, less touristy places and experiences. Beautiful nature, great atmosphere and truly outstanding service. The kind of day when you can just switch off and enjoy.

Save your money and choose another tour.
Save your money and choose another tour. Our experience was disappointing from beginning to end. First, we received no clear instructions about the meeting point and had to contact the company ourselves to figure out where we were supposed to meet. The van used for transportation had no functioning air conditioning, which was already uncomfortable. We had also booked a tour advertised in Spanish, but once we boarded the boat, the tour was conducted in English and Croatian. The itinerary was another major issue. Several locations that are still advertised on their website were not visited at all, and although swimming in the sea is mentioned as part of the tour, we never had the chance to swim. The worst part was the guide’s attitude. When we simply asked about the missing stops, she became visibly irritated and responded rudely, as though we were to blame for expecting the itinerary that the company itself advertises. To make things even stranger, we were told we couldn’t sit in certain seats on the boat, because they belonged to other people, despite there being no assigned seating system. Poor organization, misleading advertising and terrible customer service. There are much better ways to spend your time and money.

TOTAL DISASTER! DON’T TAKE IT
If you have the chance to skip this tour, do it. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing and did not match what was advertised. To begin with, we had to contact them ourselves to find out where and how we were supposed to meet. The tour we booked and paid for was supposed to be in Spanish, but once we got out of the van — which had no working air conditioning — and boarded the boat, the tour was mainly conducted in English and Croatian. Several stops advertised on their website were simply skipped. They also advertised the possibility of swimming in the sea, but that never happened either. When we politely asked the guide about the missing stops, she became annoyed and spoke to us in a very rude way, almost as if it were our fault for asking about something that THEY continue to advertise on their website. Her attitude and lack of friendliness made the experience even worse. On the boat, we were also told we couldn’t sit in certain places because they were supposedly reserved for other passengers, even though there was no assigned seating and nobody had paid for specific seats. Overall: poor communication, several advertised activities not delivered, an uncomfortable van, and very poor customer service. If you have the opportunity to miss this tour, take it.

Desastroso
Definitely not a tour I would recommend. If you can avoid it, you should. The problems started before the tour even began. Nobody gave us proper meeting instructions, so we had to reach out ourselves to ask where we needed to go. We specifically paid for a tour in Spanish, but after being transported in a van with broken air conditioning and getting on the boat, the explanations were mostly in English and Croatian. Even more disappointing was the itinerary. The company advertises several places and stops on its website, but we did not visit many of them. Swimming in the sea was also advertised as part of the experience, yet we were never given the opportunity to do so. When we asked the guide why we weren’t visiting the other advertised locations, instead of simply explaining the situation, she became defensive and angry. Her attitude was extremely unfriendly and made us feel as though we were doing something wrong just by asking a reasonable question. We were also prevented from sitting in certain areas of the boat because they were supposedly “someone else’s seats,” despite there being no assigned seating. Very disappointing experience and definitely not what was sold to us.

Full-Day Group Tour of Montenegro Coast from Dubrovnik: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Full-Day Group Tour of Montenegro Coast from Dubrovnik cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full-Day Group Tour of Montenegro Coast from Dubrovnik take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Full-Day Group Tour of Montenegro Coast from Dubrovnik worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 78 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full-Day Group Tour of Montenegro Coast from Dubrovnik?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full-Day Group Tour of Montenegro Coast from Dubrovnik suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full-Day Group Tour of Montenegro Coast from Dubrovnik?
+
Around 27 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full-Day Group Tour of Montenegro Coast from Dubrovnik start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
