About this experience
One of the loveliest ways of experiencing the beauty of Capri, a breathtaking island of natural beauty in the Bay of Naples. We will sail along the beautiful Amalfi Coast, heading to Capri, passing by Positano and the magical Li-Galli Island. Once reached Capri, we will sail around the island, admiring from the boat some of the main sights such as the White Grotto, The Natural Arch, Villa Malaparte, Faraglioni Rocks, Marina Piccola, little Grotto and the famous Blue Grotto - The visit inside the Grotto is NOT GUARANTEED in case of adverse weather conditions, long queue and time restraints. After disembarking in Marina Grande, the main Port in Capri, you will have about 4 hours of free time to spend at your leisure. The boat trip includes two swimming stops in the crystal-clear waters of the surrounding area of Capri Island and the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area. On the return journey, you will enjoy an aperitif on board as you admire the scenic beauty of the coast.

I booked this trip for my...
I booked this trip for my visit to the Amalfi coast since I wanted to see Capri and the blue grotto. I was staying on the Amalfi Coast in a town a mile away from the Amalfi port. Something to be aware of when booking is that there is only one road that leads to the Amalfi Port. On the day I was scheduled to take this tour, there was an accident on the road to the port of Amalfi which stopped traffic. I had set out with plenty of time to make the boat ride but due to the accident, we sat in standstill traffic. As soon as I realized I would be delayed, I reached out to this company. They were extremely unhelpful and would not even wait ten minutes despite that this costed $400 for 2 people. They also refused to refund me at all. I ended up taking a ferry to Capri that day. Once I arrived in Capri there were many tours available to be booked on the spot. I ended up having an incredible experience for significantly cheaper than the excursion I had originally booked. I would advise anyone who wants to experience Capri and the surrounding areas not to book this tour. It is a waste of money and a financial risk. There are amazing tours available in capri for $25 a person.

Full Day Capri Island Cruise from Praiano, Positano or Amalfi: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amalfi.
How much does Full Day Capri Island Cruise from Praiano, Positano or Amalfi cost?
+
Prices start at $183 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amalfi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Capri Island Cruise from Praiano, Positano or Amalfi take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amalfi is not rushed.
Is Full Day Capri Island Cruise from Praiano, Positano or Amalfi worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 291 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Amalfi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Capri Island Cruise from Praiano, Positano or Amalfi?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Capri Island Cruise from Praiano, Positano or Amalfi suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Capri Island Cruise from Praiano, Positano or Amalfi?
+
Around 102 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amalfi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amalfi and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Capri Island Cruise from Praiano, Positano or Amalfi start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amalfi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amalfi?
+
On Outty we rank every Amalfi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hands-On Cooking Class & Farmhouse Tour on the Amalfi Coast, Amalfi Coast Boat Rental: Explore, Swim, and Relax at Your Pace, Amalfi: Kayak-Snorkeling to Pandora Cave Hidden Beach & Aperitif. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amalfi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amalfi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
