A World-Class Guide for an Incredible Cape Town Adventure

Frank was, without question, one of the highlights of our trip to Cape Town. He spent an entire day with our family taking us to the Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach, and many incredible stops along the way. What made the experience truly exceptional wasn’t just the beautiful destinations—it was Frank himself. His knowledge of the history, culture, geography, wildlife, and landscapes of the Cape Peninsula was remarkable. Every stop came alive through his stories and explanations, and we learned so much more than we ever would have on our own. He also had a great eye for spotting wildlife and made sure we didn’t miss any special sightings. Throughout the day, Frank was incredibly patient, professional, and respectful. We never felt rushed or pressured to move on to the next stop. Instead, he let us enjoy each location at our own pace while making thoughtful suggestions that enhanced our experience. Traveling with children can sometimes be challenging, but he was wonderful with our kids—they genuinely enjoyed spending the day with him and were engaged the entire time. Frank is truly a class act and an outstanding ambassador for Cape Town. We are beyond grateful that our hotel recommended him, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. If you’re looking for a personalized, informative, and unforgettable Cape Peninsula tour, do yourself a favor and book a day with Frank. It was worth every minute, and we would recommend him without hesitation.

Response from the operator: Good day ; It was wonderful working with you. and we thank you so very much for the great review of our services, we also want to thank you for all the supports and all future recommendations , hope we will visit Cape Town soon again, kind regards,

    Frank really looked after us!

At very short notice Frank picked us up from our hotel and took us down the west coast to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. Frank was knowledgeable, super friendly and stopped at several places for photo ops. A very safe driver in his spotless Toyota, and just so easy to talk to about all things African. We came back up the east coast and saw Eland, baboons and then the penguins at Boulders Beach. Nothing was too hard, and despite our late start, we never felt rushed. Thank you Frank for a great day !

Response from the operator: Good day to you, It was really pleaser on our side working with you. knowing that you enjoyed every minute of the Tour makes us very happy. we will like to thank you so very much all the conversations about everything and we want to say many thanks for all that supports . please stay in touch, kind regards.

☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️Fantastic Cape of Good Hope Day Trip with Frank Travels!

☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️Fantastic Cape of Good Hope Day Trip with Frank Travels. We had an amazing full-day trip from Cape Town to the Cape of Good Hope. The coastal drive was absolutely beautiful, with stunning ocean views and lovely stops along the way. Our guide, Frank, did a great job as a driver and a guide! One of the stops, a boat ride, was great — we saw seals and were lucky to spot a humpback whale. At the Cape, we saw wild ostriches, baboons and antelopes surrounded by a astonishing nature! We also visited Simon’s Town and saw the penguins, which was wonderful. The whole day was well organized, relaxing, and full of unforgettable wildlife and scenery. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cape Town.

Response from the operator: Good day and thank you so very much for taking time to give the review on our services, we are pleased to know you enjoyed the Tour, and we trust you well visit soon again, kind regards,

Full Day Cape of Good Hope & Boulder's Beach Penguin Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.

How much does Full Day Cape of Good Hope & Boulder's Beach Penguin Private Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $1025 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Full Day Cape of Good Hope & Boulder's Beach Penguin Private Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.

Is Full Day Cape of Good Hope & Boulder's Beach Penguin Private Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 41 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Cape of Good Hope & Boulder's Beach Penguin Private Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Full Day Cape of Good Hope & Boulder's Beach Penguin Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Full Day Cape of Good Hope & Boulder's Beach Penguin Private Tour?

    +

Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Full Day Cape of Good Hope & Boulder's Beach Penguin Private Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cape Town?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape Town: Lion's Head Sunrise/Sunset Hike, Ocean Wildlife Encounter in Cape Town, Private Full Day Stellenbosch Wine Tour with Pick Up and Drop Off. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cape Town?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cape Town?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
