Here’s another warning: If you bring your kids to this spot, you may have to pry them away from all the furry little fluff-balls once it’s time to go home. Stunning views and good vibes
Me and my girlfriend loved our experience on this tour. Our driver was very friendly and punctual, and offered us a few more good places to see while we’re in KL. The scenery at both the French and Japanese villages was absolutely stunning, as was the view on the whole ride there. Definitely recommend this tour while in KL.

A slice of Europe and Japan in Malaysia!
Day 4: Bukit Tinggi & Batu Caves Just an hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur took us 3,500 feet above sea level to Bukit Tinggi, which literally means high hill. Our first stop was Colmar, a French-inspired resort nestled in the midst of lush forests. Walking through its cobbled streets and castle-like buildings felt like stepping into a village in France. A stream ran through the resort, where elegant swans glided gracefully, adding to the charm of this fairy-tale setting. From France, we moved on to Japan! A short trek uphill led us to the Japanese Garden, surrounded by tall trees and dense foliage. At its centre stood a traditional Japanese-style house, where tourists dressed in kimonos posed for pictures and enjoyed an authentic tea ceremony. It was as though we had been transported to another land altogether. Our next stop was the rabbit farm, a sheer delight! Watching the little rabbits prance about playfully and even getting to hold them was an experience that brought smiles and laughter. From Bukit Tinggi, we drove to the awe-inspiring Batu Caves. Standing tall at the entrance was the magnificent 140-foot golden statue of Lord Murugan—majestic and imposing. Inside, the colorful temples dedicated to various deities added vibrancy and spirituality to the visit. After so much walking and climbing, we relished a hearty South Indian meal before heading back. It was a day filled with beauty, nature, spirituality, and joy—made even more enriching by our knowledgeable English-speaking driver-guide, who shared fascinating trivia along the way.
