Great tour and even better guide

This is one of the best tours I have ever done. Alfred was our guide and he was phenomenal. He was so kind and accommodating to everyone. If you can get Alfred you will not be sorry. This is a full day tour and I never felt rushed. I was traveling solo and there was a couple on their honeymoon in my group that were so sweet. There was also another single traveler that was difficult and rude. The couple and I tried to distance ourselves from her as much as possible. Alfred was a complete professional dealing with her. I don’t know how he did it but he treated her with the same kindness and respect as the rest of us. Kudos to Alfred!

Response from the operator: Dear Valued Guest, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful experience with us. We are delighted to hear that this was one of the best tours you have ever done. Your kind words about Alfred mean a great deal to us. He truly embodies the level of professionalism, kindness, and dedication that we strive to provide to every guest. We will be sure to pass on your compliments to him—he will be thrilled to know that his efforts made such a positive impact on your day. We also appreciate your recognition of the way Alfred handled a challenging situation with patience, respect, and professionalism. Ensuring that every guest feels valued while maintaining a positive experience for the entire group is something we take great pride in, and we're pleased that this stood out during your tour. It was our pleasure to have you join us, and we hope to welcome you back to Cape Town for another memorable adventure in the future. Warm regards, Wish2C Tours & Shuttle

Unforgettable Day in Cape Town with Zaine

We had the absolute best day touring Cape Town with our guide, Zaine. From the moment he picked us up, he was warm, personable, and instantly made us feel like we were exploring the city with a close friend who just happens to know every hidden corner of the Cape. Zaine took us everywhere we hoped to go—and then some. We explored the colourful Bo-Kaap district, soaked in the views from Table Mountain, wandered along beautiful beaches, visited wineries, and of course spent time with the penguins at Boulders Beach. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and landscape of South Africa, and shared it all in a way that was engaging, fun, and easy to understand. On top of that, he was an exceptionally smooth and safe driver, navigating every road with total confidence. What really stood out, though, was how accommodating he was—happily adjusting the itinerary to fit our specific requests and going above and beyond at every turn to make the experience unforgettable. If you’re looking for a guide in Cape Town who brings expertise, great energy, and genuine care for your experience, Zaine is your guy. We couldn’t recommend him more highly!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this incredible review! We’re absolutely delighted to hear that your day in Cape Town with Zaine was such a memorable one. He truly has a special way of making guests feel welcome while sharing the very best of the city, and it’s wonderful to know that his knowledge, enthusiasm, and flexibility made your experience exceptional. It sounds like you covered so many highlights—from Bo-Kaap and Table Mountain to the beaches, wineries, and penguins—and we’re thrilled that every stop felt meaningful and enjoyable. Your kind words about Zaine’s driving, hosting, and personal touch mean the world to us. We’ll be sure to pass your feedback along to him—he’ll be over the moon! Thank you again for choosing to explore Cape Town with us, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the future.

Full Day BoKaap, Penguins, Cape Point & Muizenberg Beach Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.

How much does Full Day BoKaap, Penguins, Cape Point & Muizenberg Beach Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $41 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Full Day BoKaap, Penguins, Cape Point & Muizenberg Beach Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.

Is Full Day BoKaap, Penguins, Cape Point & Muizenberg Beach Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day BoKaap, Penguins, Cape Point & Muizenberg Beach Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Full Day BoKaap, Penguins, Cape Point & Muizenberg Beach Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Full Day BoKaap, Penguins, Cape Point & Muizenberg Beach Tour?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Full Day BoKaap, Penguins, Cape Point & Muizenberg Beach Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cape Town?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape Town: Lion's Head Sunrise/Sunset Hike, Ocean Wildlife Encounter in Cape Town, Private Full Day Stellenbosch Wine Tour with Pick Up and Drop Off. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cape Town?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cape Town?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
