About this experience
One of the most beautiful towns in the area of Eastern Peloponnese as well as one of the most romantic cities all over Greece, Nafplio was the first capital of the newly born Greek state between 1823 and 1834. Frankish, Venetian and Turkish conquerors left their mark in the town and strongly influenced its culture, architecture and traditions during the centuries. Ancient walls, medieval castles, monuments and statues, Ottoman fountains and Venetian or neoclassical buildings mesmerize the visitor with their unique architecture and beauty As visitors go up or down the 999 steps of Palamidi, the image that is revealed to them is unique. Nafplio stretches out in front of them with the everyday sounds of a unique world and colors that overflow with culture and earthly and human beauty. With the blue of the sea and the sky matching the myth of the blue-eyed eyes of Nafplio, the son of Poseidon who founded it, the city of love unfolds in front of you the ornaments of its rich history.

Chris was beyond amazing. He was so knowledgeable, friendly, conversational, and experienced. He made the trip fun and exciting while also making sure throughout every stop we were able to experience everything we wanted. Once he found out things we’d already seen and what we wanted to see most, he did everything he could to make that happen. I don’t think we could’ve seen half as much on our own. 147/10 recommend this group, company, and most specifically Chris. Best tour so far on our trip!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this incredible review! We’re thrilled to hear that Chris made your tour unforgettable. His passion, knowledge, and ability to tailor each experience to what matters most to our guests are exactly what we strive for, and it’s wonderful to know he exceeded your expectations. We’re glad he helped you see so much more than you could have on your own and that he made the day both fun and meaningful. A “147/10” recommendation absolutely made our day! Thank you again for choosing us — and especially for highlighting Chris. We hope the rest of your trip is just as amazing, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime!

Peloponnese tour
One of the best experiences we had in Athens was with our driver, Alexis, who was waiting for us at the hotel to start our tour to Corinth. He created a program tailored to our interests — the perfect choice for a family vacation. The best stop was in Tolo, which wasn’t originally in our itinerary, but it was a wonderful suggestion by Alexis, allowing us to swim and enjoy a meal at an excellent restaurant he also recommended. We truly thank him from the bottom of our hearts. We had very interesting conversations, a very pleasant day, and a lot of laughter. Thank you, Alexis, for this excursion! We will definitely visit Greece again in the future, as we learned that the company offers tours all over the country!

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full Day Biblical Ancient Corinth Canal Mycenae Epidauvro Nafplio: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does Full Day Biblical Ancient Corinth Canal Mycenae Epidauvro Nafplio cost?
+
Prices start at $106 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Biblical Ancient Corinth Canal Mycenae Epidauvro Nafplio take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is Full Day Biblical Ancient Corinth Canal Mycenae Epidauvro Nafplio worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Biblical Ancient Corinth Canal Mycenae Epidauvro Nafplio?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Biblical Ancient Corinth Canal Mycenae Epidauvro Nafplio suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Biblical Ancient Corinth Canal Mycenae Epidauvro Nafplio?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Biblical Ancient Corinth Canal Mycenae Epidauvro Nafplio start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
