A Shore Lunch with Penguins After..

For this tour we were so happy to have Pablo as our guide again and Jose as our driver. They provided us with a wonderful trip in a very comfortable vehicle to the fishing village with a coffee break along the way. We were able to taste Mate tea along with yummy Argentine pastries. Once arriving in Puerto Almanza we had lunch at A’Kum restaurant which not only had fantastic food but gorgeous flowers and a view. After lunch we went to the shore near the village and spent time exploring and learning about the almost war with Chile. Finally we boarded the small boat which brought us right up to the shore of the island filled with Magellanic and Gentoo Penguins. We had plenty of time to take many photos and videos. The trip home was not very talkative as We snoozed in the back seat. Pablo and Jose are a great team!
