1. Kushida Shrine

   Often affectionately called “Okushida-san,” Kushida Shrine is considered the guardian shrine of Hakata and is closely tied to local tradition and community identity. It’s long associated with prosperity and longevity, and its history is deeply woven into the story of Hakata.

2. Hakatamachiya Furusatokan

   Located near Kushida Shrine, this museum offers a clear look into traditional Hakata life and culture, including festival heritage and crafts. It’s a compact but high-impact stop that helps visitors understand the “why” behind Hakata’s neighborhoods and traditions.

3. Tochoji Temple

   This is a location included in Option A “Hakata Culture Walk”. Tochoji is famous for the Fukuoka Daibutsu (Great Buddha)—a massive seated statue that stands over 10 meters tall, with an impressive carved halo behind it. The temple grounds also include iconic structures like a five-storied pagoda, offering a strong contrast to the morning’s shrine atmosphere.

4. Fukuoka Castle Remains

   This is a location included in Option A “Hakata Culture Walk”. Yusentei Park began as a villa and garden built in 1754 for Fukuoka Castle Ruins are one of Japan’s 100 most famous castles and a major historic site in the heart of the city. Built in the early 17th century by Kuroda Nagamasa, the castle area is now known for its impressive stone walls, preserved structures, and spacious grounds where visitors can imagine the scale of the former fortress.

5. Korokanatotenjikan

   This is a location included in Option A “Hakata Culture Walk”. Korokanatotenjikan mark the site of an ancient state guesthouse used to receive foreign diplomats during the Nara and Heian periods. It is the only identified Korokan site in Japan, making it a rare and important place to explore Fukuoka’s role as an international gateway in early Japanese history.

6. Uminonakamichi Seaside Park

   This is a location included in Option B “Nature & Leisure Plan”. This vast national park sits on the sandbar-shaped Uminonakamichi, between Hakata Bay and the Genkai Sea. Visitors can enjoy seasonal flowers and wide open spaces—an easy way to add nature and “big views” to a city day. You can enjoy Uminonakamichi in the way that fits your style: glide through the vast seaside park on a guided Segway tour for big-sky views and ocean breezes, or spend a relaxed, weather-proof visit at Marine World Uminonakamichi, an aquarium known for its impressive marine life and shows.

7. BOSS E-ZO FUKUOKA

   This is a location included in Option C “Baseball Entertain Sightseeing”. Next to the dome area, BOSS E-ZO FUKUOKA is a multi-floor entertainment complex featuring attractions such as teamLab experiences and viewpoint/ride elements from the upper levels. It’s designed for hands-on fun and “wow” moments that feel very different from historic Hakata.

8. OH Sadaharu Baseball Museum

   This is a location included in Option C “Baseball Entertain Sightseeing”. This museum is dedicated to the legendary home-run hitter Sadaharu Oh, combining exhibits with interactive zones that let visitors feel baseball through activities like batting/pitching-style attractions. It’s a strong fit even for casual fans because the experience is visual and playful, not just “look and read.”

9. Fukuoka Tower

   This is a location included in Option A “Hakata Culture Walk” and Option C “Entertain Sightseeing”. Fukuoka Tower is the city’s signature seaside observation tower, offering wide views over the bay and cityscape. It’s generally open from 9:30–22:00 (last entry 21:30), though schedules can vary by conditions, so we time the visit around crowds and daylight.

10. Best Five Stadium

    This is a location included in Option D “Hakata football and rugby Stadium”. Now we call this stadium "Best Denki Stadium". Home to Avispa Fukuoka, this football-specific venue in the “Hakata no Mori” sports park near Fukuoka Airport is also remembered as one of Fukuoka’s key Rugby World Cup 2019 venues, making it an appealing stop for football and rugby fans alike. It offers a great chance to experience the atmosphere of a local Japanese stadium and learn more about the city’s sporting culture. Availability / Inquiry Required: A stadium visit/tour may be available depending on the schedule, but it cannot be arranged on match days or around match-related operations. Please contact us before booking, or immediately after booking, to confirm availability.
