    Perfect

Absolutely wonderful ! This is such an easy way to go from Yogyakarta to Bali by doing stuff on the road and not by stressing out for hostel bookings and transports. I did this tour with my sister. At the end of it we had a 10+ group. We met so many beautiful people. YKExplore guides are also soooooo nice and funny I definitely recommand you this tour ! Thank you YKExplore !!

    The trip of a lifetime!

We had such an amazing time on this tour! Our awesome guide Nanda took great care of us and made sure everything went very smoothly. He always had a smile on his face despite really early mornings and long travel days which kept our energy up. We really got the best local guides at all of the locations we went to, and the itinerary was carefully planned to avoid crowds and do things at the optimal time. We were also pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotels we stayed at. All of the activities were once in a lifetime experiences and I can’t recommend it enough. Fantastic tour company, fantastic guide and fantastic trip!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience! We're thrilled to hear that you had such a memorable journey with us and that everything went smoothly. Nanda will be especially happy to hear your praise — he's truly passionate about what he does, and we’re lucky to have him on our team. We’re also glad the itinerary, local guides, and hotel selections met your expectations. Providing a seamless and meaningful travel experience is what we aim for, and your feedback means the world to us. We hope to welcome you again for another adventure in the future!

    Nice trip, nice driver

Had a super fun trip with several beautiful sights on Java. The stays that were arranged were also top and well arranged. Our driver Bima was also a winner! Told a lot about the country, customs, and other interesting facts about Indonesia. Also very flexible in the ride, if we wanted to make a stop somewhere this was always negotiable. Also a lot of interest is our culture and our country.

Response from the operator: Bedankt voor je fantastische review!

    Unforgettable experience!

It was a fantastic experience, partly because of our Guide Bhimo. He immediately made us feel completely at ease with his hospitality. He showed us the most beautiful places and always wanted to make sure that everything was as desired. We have seen and done wonderful things. Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Bedankt Thieu voor je geweldige review! We zijn blij dat Bhimo zo'n positieve indruk heeft achtergelaten en dat je een onvergetelijke ervaring hebt gehad. We verwelkomen je graag nog een keer voor meer prachtige momenten!

Awesome tour in Java’s nature - Tumpak Sewu/Mt Bromo

We had a wonderful 3 days tour starting from Yogyakarta to see Tumpak Sewu waterfalls and Mount Bromo. Originally it was supposed to be a 4 days tour including Mt Lijen climb, but unfortunately it was temporary closed because of rising volcanic activities (not the company’s fault), but they managed to make a shorter trip (3 days) and booked for us a flight for Bali (our next destination, instead of getting there by ferry+car drive). Good communication with the travel agent (Lintang). Our driver and guide (Nasir) is a really nice guy and we felt at ease since the first minute. His English is very good and he told us lot about the Indonesian culture and the peculiarities of the places we were going to visit. Great planning of the tour and the excursions overall, especially in Mt Bromo where we skipped the long queues at sunrise. Definitely recommended!

Response from the operator: Thank you, Alessandro! We're thrilled you enjoyed the tour and appreciated our team's efforts. It's great to hear that Lintang and Nasir made your experience memorable. Your recommendation means a lot to us! Safe travels to Bali!

From Yogyakarta: Tumpak Sewu Bromo and Ijen with Bali Drop-off: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Yogyakarta.

How much does From Yogyakarta: Tumpak Sewu Bromo and Ijen with Bali Drop-off cost?

    +

Prices start at $224 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Yogyakarta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does From Yogyakarta: Tumpak Sewu Bromo and Ijen with Bali Drop-off take?

    +

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Yogyakarta is not rushed.

Is From Yogyakarta: Tumpak Sewu Bromo and Ijen with Bali Drop-off worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Yogyakarta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule From Yogyakarta: Tumpak Sewu Bromo and Ijen with Bali Drop-off?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is From Yogyakarta: Tumpak Sewu Bromo and Ijen with Bali Drop-off suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book From Yogyakarta: Tumpak Sewu Bromo and Ijen with Bali Drop-off?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Yogyakarta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Yogyakarta and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does From Yogyakarta: Tumpak Sewu Bromo and Ijen with Bali Drop-off start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Yogyakarta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Yogyakarta?

    +

On Outty we rank every Yogyakarta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Yogyakarta Private Car Hire with Driver, From Surabaya / Malang : Mt Bromo Sunrise - Ijen Blue Fire 2D1N, Borobudur Full Climb Up And Prambanan ALL INCLUSIVE PRIVATE Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Yogyakarta?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Yogyakarta?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
