Well organized. Nice, friendly guides.
Great, friendly guide/driver. Everything was taken care of for us. Local guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. Great tagine cooking experience at Akshour. Our guide at Chefchouen knew everybody in town (including helping out the younger guides). Long day, but Chefchouen was worth it.

Aktour falls and tagine cooking class and Chefchaouen
The English of both guides was not very good. The driver was fantastic and his car immaculate. All were friendly - we wished the guides gave as good info as the driver. We really loved our trip to the falls and our tagine cooking lesson. We thought overall the tour was value for money.

10/10 Akchour Waterfalls and Chefchauoen tour
My group of friends definitely recommends this trip. It was 10/10, the best travel experience we’ve had! We had two amazing guides for each leg of the trip - Safouane and Hasim. The Akchour waterfall was beautiful and making the tagine was spectacular. Chefchauoen was gorgeous especially at night. Both guides went above and beyond. Safouane was funny and took time to show us multiple stops. Hasim was so sweet and did a great job showing all of the Medina in less than two hours and brought us to lovely spot to shop. This tour does have a lot of walking and the hike part does require you to be pretty able to walk across some slippery areas and makeshift bridges. This is the best tour you have to do if you come to Morocco! If you can do it we’d highly recommend!!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review and for recommending the experience! We’re delighted to hear that your group had such a memorable day exploring Akchour and Chefchaouen with Safouane and Hasim. They will both be very happy to know that their care, energy, and attention made the experience special for you. From the beautiful Akchour waterfalls and preparing the traditional tagine to discovering Chefchaouen and its Medina at night, it sounds like you really made the most of the day! Thank you as well for mentioning the walking and hiking conditions. This is very helpful for future travelers, as some parts around Akchour can indeed be slippery and require a reasonable level of mobility. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you back to Morocco again someday. Come as a guest, leave as a family. Oualid Yalah Travel Morocco

100% Worth the Drive
Sometimes when you see an activity that states 10-11 hours it’s easy to dismiss it as too much or probably not worth it … but in this case, I would encourage you to go anyway. Safouane was a fantastic tour guide telling us so much about Morocco and the area. I learned a lot on this trip. We stopped at a roadside bakers oven and learned about traditional cooking from her. The bread and biscuits we bout at this stop, we ate with our tanjine later. The waterfalls were absolutely stunning. Please note that if you agree not big on the outdoors, this is not for you. Not sure what the warning was for this but we luckily had hiking shoes on. Scrambling over rocks, up and down inclines, over small bridges made out of sticks and boards, and making your own tanjine was an awesome day for us. We were sweating and enjoyed putting our feet in the freezing cold water without going in it. Our guide was flexible for whatever we wanted to do. We also went to the Blue City, which is in fact blue with lots of art. It also has lots of walking around the hilly streets. Lots of cute cats! But our favorite stop was the waterfalls.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed review! We’re delighted that you enjoyed the full experience, from the roadside bakery and traditional food to the adventure at Akchour Waterfalls and the beautiful streets of Chefchaouen. It’s wonderful to hear that Safouane made the journey informative, flexible, and enjoyable. Akchour is definitely an adventure, and we’re glad the hiking, waterfalls, and tajine experience became the highlight of your day! Thank you again for choosing Yalah Travel Morocco and for encouraging future travelers to experience this tour. We hope to welcome you back to Morocco again!
