    Decent, but not for me

No complaints about the team/company - they were friendly, very well-organised and open. The boat tour was my favourite part for sure; I wish we could have started the day with the boat tour as that would have helped me with planning the day... However, my personal opinion is that Capri is overhyped and overpriced - there's plenty of equally beautiful places in the world that are more accessible and offer better value for money! The company managed to sell their minibus transport add-on (€26 pp) to almost everyone onboard by explaining that Anacapri is where you need to go to experience the real Capri, how tricky it is to get there via public transport and how you're basically only paying ~€10 pp extra for convenience which completely makes sense when you have such limited time. They were not pushy at all (it felt more like a friendly suggestion!) and at the time I thought they must be right, so we spent the extra money for the add-on... However, based on my reflections from the day, my opinion (feel free to disagree!) is that it's not at all possible to experience the real Capri in a day. As they mentioned during the boat tour, the real Capri is pretty much pedestrian-access only. I also found that Anacapri was almost equally as commercial as Capri, just less crowded... not quite the real Capri I was expecting! If anything, I feel like Capri is about luxury - you should be prepared to spend a significant amount of money. Capri on a budget is not worth it. If you do still want to visit Capri just to be able to say you have been there, I think this tour is pretty good... convenient for sure. But don't expect to experience the real Capri!

Response from the operator: Thanks for your detailed feedback! We are really happy to know that you have had a fantastic experience with our service. We are in the height of the tourist season and Capri as others international toursit destination , it is very crowded and it si not really our fault . With regards to the tour on the Island organized by the guide, it is an optional tour.

Great escape to Capri for the day.

Great day in Capri! This group ferry picked us up very close to our hotel (recommend Hotel La Certosa). Short ride to the beautiful island. Worth the extra dollars to have a private transfer to Capri and Old town Capri. Appreciated the tips on what to see in the time allotted.

Response from the operator: Thank you 💙

    Best day ever!!

What an amazing tour! Capri is such a beautiful island, inside and out! The port can get crazy, like most ports but the tour guides offered an optional bus transport (cost not included) up to Capri’s town center plaza. We went to the Garden of Augustus for lovely views(you can buy entry tickets there). Then we took the same bus transport up to Anacapri. There we bought the “sky lift” to Monte Solaro for more amazing views! Had some limoncello and my new fav drink Limoncello Spritz! Also had some delicious panini sandwiches and sfogiatella and pistachio cannoli. Then the tour completed with viewing the island from the outside on the boat, to include the lighthouse and natural arch. Definitely a great way to spend a day in the Campania region.

Response from the operator: Thank You 💙

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sorrento?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
