About this experience
We are truly blessed with a natural wonder sculpted over millions of years: the mesmerizing Gaitanes Gorge. The inception of this "trail" dates back to the 20th century What they ingeniously crafted is a pathway that's a mere 1 meter wide and extends for 3 kilometers, soaring an incredible 100 meters above the ground! A few years later, during the inauguration of the Dam by the esteemed King Alfonso XIII, he traversed this extraordinary route and bestowed upon it the name it carries proudly to this day: "El Caminito del Rey." Only 2 hour separate Sevilla from El Chorro, the town where our adventure begins. The route itself is short and free of difficulties, spanning 3 kilometers of entirely flat terrain. However, the true allure lies in its extraordinary location, with sections suspended more than 100 meters above the river. Prepare to meander along dizzying walkways, traverse the reservoir on towering bridges, and savor breathtaking views from precipitous lookout points.

Caminito del Rey with Private Transportation
We decided to take use a personal driver so that we didn’t lose any time in Seville by taking the bus to Caminito del Rey. We made the best the decision! Our driver was helpful and kind. He got us back and forth with no issues. The drive is about 4 hours total, but the kids had plenty of space to stretch out and sleep on the way. The staff at Caminito del Rey were so helpful and patient with us as we worked through finding our tickets on our phone, download or print before You get on the mountain, there is no cell service. They had space to take us on a group tour two hours early. Sergio, Our tour guide was awesome, he told stories and history lesson about Caminito del Rey. He grew up exploring the canyons as a child. Make sure you bring LOTS of water and sunblock. The limestone traps the heat in the canyons. Overall, a great trip, worth the personal driver, and still got back to Seville in time to enjoy more of the city.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review! We are very happy that you enjoyed the tour and the professionalism and knowledge of our guides. We hope to see you again soon on one of our tours around Spain!

How much does From Sevilla: Caminito Del Rey tour with Private Transportation cost?

Is From Sevilla: Caminito Del Rey tour with Private Transportation worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Is From Sevilla: Caminito Del Rey tour with Private Transportation suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book From Sevilla: Caminito Del Rey tour with Private Transportation?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seville and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does From Sevilla: Caminito Del Rey tour with Private Transportation start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seville?
+
On Outty we rank every Seville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Seville Tapas Crawl Tour by Food Lover Tour, Seville: Paella & Tapas Cooking Class + Triana Market Tour, Sevilla Food Tour: Tapas, Wine, History & Traditions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seville?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seville?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
