Good tour
The tour was very good. But you must remember that visiting Pompeii takes some caution. It's a big place and the stones you walk on are something to be careful on. The guide was clear in her speaking.

Pasquale was great! He...
Pasquale was great! He was very knowledgeable and kept our group moving through the crowds and showed us quite a bit. I wish seeing the Amphitheatre and victim monuments were part of the tour. We had to break off on our own to do it on our free hour but it’s a little complicated navigating the area to get back to the meeting point. Would have rather just had that be part of the tour. We didn’t really need a free hour. The tour was short enough. We were back in time for lunch.

Very disappointed
The tour said we would be shown about 15 sites on the way to Pompeii but the driver couldn't speak English. When arriving at the site, Layla just said to the 29 tourist to follow her. She was short and didn't have a flag or anything to see. There was hundreds of people going every which way so it wasn't hard for several to get lost. After several minutes the lost ones found us to get their tickets and ear pieces. When the tour finally started if you weren't within 30 feet of Layla you were out of range to hear what she was saying about each site. Needless to say our foursome learned nearly nothing from the whole tour. I would not recommend using Vox City tours to anyone!!! Awful.

Terribly organized, poor communication
The communication regarding transportation from the port to Pompeii was terrible. We received information from other customers. There was no communication about where to go to meet the bus to return either. On the return everyone was given food but us. The Pompeii guide and tour were great and accommodating. I would recommend the guide but absolutely not the tour company.

We had received significantly more bookings than originally expected, and, unfortunately, on the same day our tour leader was suddenly affected by a serious health problem and was unable to carry out her duties. Despite this unexpected emergency, our team worked immediately to reorganize the operation and, most importantly, we made sure that all our guests were transported to Pompeii and were able to take part in the visit. We fully appreciate, however, that the last-minute changes created communication problems, particularly regarding the meeting points and the return transportation. We are also sorry to hear that you did not receive the food provided to the other guests. This should not have happened, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We are pleased that you found the Pompeii guide excellent and accommodating. This is an important part of the experience, and we are happy that at least the visit itself met your expectations.
