Great day!

Our guide was Ayrton. He is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of the country and is passionate about his role in helping us fully experience and understand the country. The sites on our tour were awesome-the waterfalls, the birds, the swing and tree house, and more. He was timely, a good driver as well as great guide, passionate when I needed to rest, and a fun person to talk to. Great day, great sites, highly recommend the tour and Ayrton!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re truly happy to hear that you had such a great experience during your tour. Ayrton will be very pleased to know that his knowledge, passion, and dedication helped make your day so special. He truly enjoys sharing the beauty, nature, and culture of Ecuador with our travelers. We’re glad you were able to enjoy the waterfalls, the birds, the famous swing and tree house, and all the incredible scenery along the way. It means a lot to us that you would recommend the tour.

A wonderful experience

Our guide Irene and our driver Santiago were both excellent. They pick us up at 6;00 am so we could be the holiday (carnival) traffic. The itinerary afforded us the opportunity to see all of the key waterfalls the town of Banos and the swing. Because we had a private tour we also were able to stop and purchase guinea pig for our dinner and the bear local ice cream on the way home. The tour was a highlight of ourti.e in Ecuador.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re very happy to hear that you had such a wonderful experience in Baños. Irene and Santiago will be delighted to know that their service helped make your trip so enjoyable. We’re glad the early start allowed you to make the most of the day and visit the beautiful waterfalls, the famous swing, and experience the best of Baños. It’s also great to know that the flexibility of the private tour made your experience even more special. We truly appreciate your trust in Quito Trip Adventure and are thrilled that this tour was a highlight of your time in Ecuador. 😊

Great tour and variety

Andres (guide) and Jimmy (driver) provided great information throughout the trip. We learned about Quito, Ecuador, the culture and he even taught us some local words. Baños cute to see. Church was beautiful. Shopping in town was touristy(take small bills), but the street food was tasty. Swing at end of the world was super cool. The grounds were gorgeous with many flowers and hummingbirds and stunning views. The swing was a true experience and I’m happy I did it even tho I’m afraid of heights. Lunch was filling and excellent and they were able to accommodate a dairy dietary restriction. The cable car to see the veil waterfall was cool, but was an out and back, could not get off and walk around. The Pailon waterfall was impressive. The short hike there had some steep portions, but we saw people of all ages out there. That was stunning and a highlight of the trip. The only negative was that the tour company charged $70 for pick up from our hotel at the Quito airport. I get that it’s out of the way, that just seems a little excessive.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the tour with Andres and Jimmy, learning about Ecuador’s culture and exploring the beautiful sites of Baños from the waterfalls to the Swing at the End of the World. It’s great to know you had such a memorable experience. Regarding the airport pickup, we appreciate your feedback, the additional fee applies because the airport is outside Quito’s metropolitan area (about an hour away). The cost starts from $35 per person and is always informed before booking. We truly value your understanding and hope to see you again in Ecuador!

Incredible Day! Highly recommend!

We had Pedro as our guide and Jimy as our driver. Day started at 7:30am and got back to the hotel at 8pm because of the holiday and how busy it was. Both Pedro and Jimy were the absolute best. Kind, funny, considerate and in no rush at all. We experienced all the sites we expected and then some! Pedro is super knowledgeable and has a very laid back approach when guiding. This made everything very relaxed and comfortable. The holiday made everything busier and never once did Pedro and Jimy make us feel rushed. If you only have a day to do Banos we would definitely recommend this tour! Thx Pedro and Jimy for a great day!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you had such a great experience in Baños with Pedro and Jimy. It’s fantastic that their kindness, knowledge, and relaxed approach helped make your day both enjoyable and stress-free. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with them; they’ll be very happy to know they made your tour so special. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again for more adventures in Ecuador!

From Quito: Baños Tour - Entrances and Lunch included: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quito.

How much does From Quito: Baños Tour - Entrances and Lunch included cost?

+

Prices start at $145 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quito usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does From Quito: Baños Tour - Entrances and Lunch included take?

+

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quito is not rushed.

Is From Quito: Baños Tour - Entrances and Lunch included worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quito, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule From Quito: Baños Tour - Entrances and Lunch included?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is From Quito: Baños Tour - Entrances and Lunch included suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 9-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book From Quito: Baños Tour - Entrances and Lunch included?

+

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quito can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quito and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does From Quito: Baños Tour - Entrances and Lunch included start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quito within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Quito?

+

On Outty we rank every Quito experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cotopaxi tour from Quito -horseback ride and hike-NO TOURISTY way, Baños Full Day Tour from Quito Including Entrances and Activities, Gastronomic and Cultural Walking Tour of Quito with Tastings. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Quito?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Quito?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
