Great day in the desert
So, this ended up being a solo tour, so Phillip and I spent a LOT of time chatting on the way back and forth. He's a great conversationalist and maybe this is a minor thing, but when he found out I had never been an In-and-Out, he INSISTED on getting lunch there so I could experience it. It was a good call. Also, as we were coming back, we had a bit of extra time and he noted "Hole in the Rock" was near my hotel, so he volunteered to make an unscheduled stop there so I could check it out. That was EXTREMELY generous of him. You really aren't going to find a tour guide with a better attitude and yes, the lava, stone Indian houses and Walnut Canyon were pretty cool, too.
