Terrible tour operator and terrible tour!!!
What a terrible day!!! This tour was started from getting texts and a call from the tour operator, Abdul, who requested to cancel this tour with the Tripadvisor and book again directly with him because he usually does not receive the money from TripAdvisor until a month or longer later. I was not feeling comfortable doing business with him directly because I do not know him or his business. So. I kept the booking with TripAdvisor. A day before our tour day, I contacted Abdul via WhatsApp to confirm our tour including pick-up time and location, which was our hotel, and he asked to change pick-up time from 5:30am to 6am and also asked us to stop at one more location, Step Well on the way to Agra. On tour day, we are waiting at the hotel at 6am for our pick-up service, but there was no car/driver. After messaging to driver and Abdul, we found out that the driver was at the wrong hotel. Despite of confirmation of the hotel name several times the day before the tour, Abdul sent his driver to the wrong hotel that we had to wait almost 1 hour and we had to deal with his argument about the hotel. Abdul was not even living in Jaipur, India, we found out later. He lives in Dubai. Even with this late start, we wanted to have a good tour day that we went to the Step Well first as Abdul suggested. It was not even anything special than another step well we saw near Amber fort. And we found out that it was more money making scheme with guide and merchandise to sell. We quickly finish the step well site - wasted 900 rupees, and started our way to Taj Mahal. On the way, driver stopped for his own bathroom break without even asking us if we needed too. On top of this stop, we also had to stop at gas station because the car Abdul arranged for us was very very old that it needed gas every 100-120 miles. The driver was not even good that we got stuck at toll gate for a long time and never explained anything because he does not speak English well at all. With all these delays, we also ran into the train stop that wasted another 30min. Abdul did not even arranged the bottles of water for us as the tour supposedly provided. After all these delays, we finally arrived at Agra around 1pm, which should’ve been at 10-10:30am, the stop was not the Taj Mahal. It was in the middle of the market street near Taj Mahal and the driver introduced a guy as our guide for the day. However, he was not the tour guide arranged for our tour. He was a driver’s friend and he charged us another 500 rupees for guiding service along with 100 rupees for the tuck ride. Abdul did not arrange any guides for us. I already paid in full for this tour which comes with car, driver, professional guides, bottles of water, etc. We argued and tried to call Abdul several times, but he did not answer our calls and just replied ‘What’ much later. The driver connected us with Abdul, but he was not taking any responsibilities of all these problems and had us to talk to his brother, who did not do anything but blamed customers. Abdul is the tour operator and he supposed to organize everything they promised on TripAdvisor ad. We finally found the Taj Mahal tour facility guide to do Taj Mahal tour for us, but we did not see/visit the other 3 sites properly because we did not have enough time after wasting all those time before visiting Taj Mahal. It is all because of Abdul’s irresponsible way of organizing the tour and the driver’s lack of professionalism. The driver only knew the road to go to place but had no clue about the tour at all. He also constantly using phones while driving that It was very dangerous. We all were very excited to see Taj Mahal and other great places at Agra, but this tour company and Abdul, who is not even living in India, literally ruined our tour day. Not only we did not see everything we paid for, but we also had a really terrible day! With this terrible experience alone, we won’t ever visit India again. Please do not use this tour company. They are just trying to make money without providing proper tour.

More than a road trip a trip with friends.
First of all, I have to say that to enjoy Jaipur or travel to Agra and come back you need someone to trust, someone that you feel comfortable with and someone that knows the locals. We were so lucky to find them and book them and the price compared to other tours was half the price. They picked us at the hotel, when we wanted not when they advised, drove to Agra and back and it was a fun road trip, full of color, great music and amazing characters from them. We laughed, we ate, we shared music, we stopped, it was a full day that went so fast!

Amazing experience in Rajasthan
My friend and I met Abdul while visiting an elephant sanctuary in Jaipur. He drove us there and then afterwards, showed us around the city on the way home. The next day we also hired him and his trusty Tuk tuk - He is very friendly, easy to talk to, and ended up being a great impromptu tour guide. He has some very cool connections and will take you to some honest places away from the tourist traps if you’re interested in textiles, jewelry, spices, etc... My friend and I were a little apprehensive at first going to some of these places being that it was our first time in India, but each place ended up being more amazing than the last. We also went to Agra the next day with Sumer, one of his drivers and he set us up with a tour guide, Aahil, at the Taj Mahal. Everything went perfectly, everyone was so friendly and we learned a ton of things that we wouldn’t have if we had gone alone. We will be revisiting India this next year, and we will definitely be giving Abdul a call again.

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
From Jaipur: Same Day Guided Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jaipur.
How much does From Jaipur: Same Day Guided Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $3000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jaipur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does From Jaipur: Same Day Guided Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 18 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jaipur is not rushed.
Is From Jaipur: Same Day Guided Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jaipur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule From Jaipur: Same Day Guided Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri Private Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is From Jaipur: Same Day Guided Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 18-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book From Jaipur: Same Day Guided Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri Private Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jaipur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jaipur and add a light layer if any part of the 18-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does From Jaipur: Same Day Guided Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jaipur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jaipur?
+
On Outty we rank every Jaipur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Sunrise Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi By Car -All inclusive, Private Jaipur Full One Day Tour In Pink City With Guide, Private Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing Tour By Tuk Tuk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jaipur?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jaipur?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
