Below Expectations
Expected a small group will get more attention from the tour guide... Unfortunately, our guide did not tell us anything more than a few basic facts (each one repeated many times agai and again). He was not engaging at all. The small group consisted of 3 families and we were still a combined English and Russian group... I use both language so I had to hear the facts two times with nothing more... The trip is really long in both directions and while our 2 drivers did a good job driving and occasionally stopping for a break, they did not ask anyone from the whole group aboout temperature in the car, or how did the people feel, or did anyone need a stop for the restroom. We were supposed to have drinks and snacks included, but other one time water offerred around the middle of the day, there were no other offers. The drivers did buy some chips for themselves at a traffic light though - all in arabic of course and without any question if someone else may take advantage of this opportunity ;-)... In total it was not extremely bad, but the trip was definetly below our expectations. Back to the tour guide - very limited information about GEM, again in two languages... waste of time. He should ha e just left us to wonder and explore alone. Did not ask is what would we prefer to see. Instead he took us to a place where we were supposed to learn more about parfume producing... we only fou d out they are selling them and no other info... could have left more tyme for the pyramides, but no... At the end we went to visit a papyrus museum. It was already late and we were tired... could have done this instead of parfumes and save time... Trip was advertized as 17 hours, but we ended up with rather 22.5-23 hours... Still worth seeing the attractions at least one time in life :-).
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We truly appreciate your honesty, as it helps us improve our services. We are sorry to hear that the tour did not fully meet your expectations, especially regarding the level of engagement from the guide, the mixed-language group, and the overall organization. Please be assured that we have already initiated an internal investigation into what happened on that specific day, as this experience is not representative of our usual standards, which you can also see reflected in our previous and long-standing guest feedback. Your comments regarding the duration of the trip, pacing of visits, unplanned shopping stops, and the lack of snacks and refreshments have been taken very seriously and will be reviewed carefully with both our guiding and operations teams. That said, we are glad to know that the drivers ensured a safe journey and that, despite the challenges, you were still able to experience Egypt’s iconic attractions. We sincerely appreciate you choosing us and sharing your experience, as it helps us ensure better service for future guests.

Is From Hurghada Small Group Full Day Tour to GEM Giza Pyramids worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hurghada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book From Hurghada Small Group Full Day Tour to GEM Giza Pyramids?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hurghada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hurghada and add a light layer if any part of the 15.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hurghada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hurghada?
+
On Outty we rank every Hurghada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hurghada: Luxor Valley of the Kings & Tutankhamun Tomb Trip, Orange Bay Island, Luxury Cruise to Orange Bay and Hula Hula island Trip. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hurghada?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hurghada?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
