Ok
Our experience with this travel agency in Egypt was overall ok, but unfortunately it came with several issues. The transportation and overall coordination with the drivers were good. The vehicles were comfortable and the transfers were organized well. We also had an excellent guide for the tours on the East and West Bank, Adel. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to spend the day with. He even suggested that we visit an additional temple that was not originally included in the program. We are very happy that we followed his suggestion because it turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit. Importantly, there was absolutely no pressure from him to add this stop. However, there were also several problems during the tour. The hot air balloon activity was very disappointing. There was a significant delay and as a result we missed the best part of the experience. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy it at all because of this. The driver seemed to be in a big hurry to get us there and was driving very dangerously, yet despite that we still arrived very late. There was also a lot of confusion regarding what was included in the package and what was not. The website clearly stated that meals were included, yet at one point we were asked to pay for a lunch. Of course we did not accept that. Additionally, the lunch on the first day (the one they tried to charge us for) was at a very touristy place and not a great experience. Another disappointment was Banana Island, which in our opinion is not worth visiting. The program also mentioned a felucca ride, but instead we were taken on a motorized boat. Overall, the experience was okay, but it came with quite a few problems that affected our enjoyment of the tour.

Overall good experience.
Tour Guides Sammy (super sweet and kind) and George were amazing and informative! Made us feel safe and comfortable. Please note you will not know your exact cruise line until arrival, so quality may vary from images. We stayed on “The Royal Viking Cruise” and the staff were amazing, always going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable with a toddler. The quality was mid range not nearly a 5 star cruise line, but clean and amazing staff. Lunch is the best meal of the day, breakfast and dinner are a hit or miss. P.S., Don’t waste your time with the WiFi it was expensive and barely worked. Be prepared to tip at the end. Overall a solid 3-4/5 experience.

Wonderful tour with wonderful guides
Thank you to Egyptology Tours for a fabulous 4 day 3 night cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Incredible sights, good food and accommodations, and excellent travel guides Samy (three days) and George (one day). The travel guides arranged for the tickets to the attractions in advance. Everything on time and very well explained. Thank you!

Luxor - Aswan Nile cruise with Family
We had an absolutely fantastic 4-day Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan with Egyptology Travel, traveling as a family, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our guide in Luxor, Adel, was outstanding — extremely knowledgeable and passionate while guiding us through Luxor Temple, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Valley of the Kings. During the cruise, our guide Samy took wonderful care of us, accompanying us throughout the journey and expertly guiding us through the temples of Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Abu Simbel. The cruise ship itself was very comfortable, with a spacious cabin, excellent amenities, and delicious food throughout the trip. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore Egypt in comfort with truly excellent guides!
