I was not allowed into the mosque ...
In your information it says you can borrow something to put on your head in the mosque. That is not true any more. You have to buy it. Cheapest is 50 AED. Clothes above the knee it also says. I had a dress right under my knee and I also put a sari around me. That was not ok. Nothing that is wrapped works. I guess they are afraid you could drop it. I managed to go through security but was then asked to leave. Buying a full length dress is about 250-300 AED for the simpliest little thing.
Response from the operator: Dear Ann-Christine Reimer, Thank your for taking the time to share your feedback. Just to clarify, our tour never mentioned anything about borrowing something. It is clearly stated to dress accordingly and we will not be responsible should you not be accepted inside due to inappropriate dressng It's important to clarify some misconceptions and emphasize the need to carefully read the fine print. The dress code outlined requires modest attire, including covering up to the feet and wrists. This entails wearing loose long trousers or skirts, long sleeves reaching the ankles or wrists, and for women, covering the head with a scarf. Conversely, shorts, tight or transparent clothing are deemed unacceptable for both men and women. Additionally, visitors must adhere to the dress code upon arrival, as failure to do so may result in denied entry. Furthermore, it's prudent to note that tour timings may fluctuate due to local traffic conditions, with the duration encompassing all pickups and drop-offs. For women specifically, the requirement for long, loose clothing and coverage of arms, legs, and heads at all times should be underscored. Adhering to these guidelines ensures a respectful and comfortable experience for all participants. Remember, always consult the fine print for comprehensive information before embarking on any excursion. Always adhere to the dress code as required. Regards

Great tour of Abu Dhabi - 30Jan2024
On January 30th, 2024, I participated in the Abu Dhabi Sightseeing tour. I was a solo traveller. As scheduled, I was picked up from my hotel prior to my pre-determined pick-up time to minimize the impact of Dubai rush hour traffic. Our guide, Jameel Ahmed, was excellent. He is a very good driver, patient, polite, and has a broad knowledge of UAE as a whole. The Abu Dhabi sightseeing tour also quickly turned into a history lecture which all passengers in the car including myself very much appreciated. I would highly recommend him. Cheers
Response from the operator: Dear Kunal, Dear Guest, Thank you for your detailed review of our Abu Dhabi Sightseeing Tour from Dubai. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the journey, the smooth arrangements, and Jameel Ahmed’s excellent service. We are proud that his knowledge about UAE history and culture added value to your Abu Dhabi city tour experience. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you again. Best regards,

It really lasted all day
We actually stayed all day in Abu Dhabi, actually it was the only all day tour that really lasted all day kkkk. I only advise the guide that when you have a woman alone in the car with him who avoids invasive conversations, he didn't come to be disrespectful to me but should be more polite. One day before he added me on Instagram and sent a message, but as I did not know who it was I did not accept. For some men, the fact that a woman is traveling alone is a white letter for them to make some kind of investment. I won't name him because I don't want to hurt anyone's employment. Ah and at the end of the tour almost it forces us to rate the Service here on the trip. Teaching us in our own cell phones the step by step of how to make the review.

Not as expected
Basically the only highlight is the mosque in Abu Dhabi. Driver is very friendly but more a bus driver than tour guide.

Trip to Abu Dhabi from Dubai
We booked our tour from GetYourGuide with OceanAir Tour. Everything has been perfect starting from hotel pick up to transfer to the tour bus and tour itself. Our tour guide, Haseeb, has been above all expectations! Very knowledgeable polite, nice and accommodating. Advice to go with This company for your future trips.

From Dubai : Abu Dhabi Sightseeing Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubai.
How much does From Dubai : Abu Dhabi Sightseeing Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does From Dubai : Abu Dhabi Sightseeing Tour take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubai is not rushed.
Is From Dubai : Abu Dhabi Sightseeing Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule From Dubai : Abu Dhabi Sightseeing Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is From Dubai : Abu Dhabi Sightseeing Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book From Dubai : Abu Dhabi Sightseeing Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubai and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does From Dubai : Abu Dhabi Sightseeing Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubai?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubai Premium Red Dunes Safari, Camels & 5* BBQ at Al Khayma Camp, Dubai: Red Dunes Safari, Quad, Camel, Dune Bash, BBQ & Shows, Dubai Dune Buggy Safari Tour in Red Dunes Options. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
