About this experience

Here's a suggested Taj Mahal and Agra Fort Day Tour Experience A day tour to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort is a journey through the rich heritage of India, packed with history, architectural brilliance, and cultural charm. Morning: Taj Mahal Visit The day usually begins early to catch the sunrise view of the Taj Mahal, a sight that's as magical as its reputation. As you approach the entrance, the white marble monument slowly reveals itself, shimmering with golden hues in the morning light. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj is a symbol of eternal love. The detailed inlay work, symmetry, gardens, and reflection in the central pool are awe-inspiring. Most visitors spend 1.5 to 2 hours here, exploring the main mausoleum, the mosque, and the guest house, and capturing countless photos from different angles.

TAJ VIP Tour

Loved the private tour with Ali. VIP treatment with learning history! All was fast track! No waiting time. The lunch afterwards was also carefully chosen to conclude the tour! Once in a lifetime experience. One more down on my bucket list!

+

On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
