A relaxed and informative Taj Mahal visit with Zuhaib
We were very satisfied with our guide, Zuhaib, for the Taj Mahal. We visited Agra as part of our own private outstation taxi trip, and arranged the Taj Mahal visit with him separately. The day started with very heavy monsoon rain, but he made the whole visit pleasant, easy and stress-free. He was punctual and very flexible, and we simply waited for a while until the rain became lighter before starting. He spoke very good English and explained the history and details of the Taj Mahal clearly and informatively, without being intrusive or overwhelming us with information. Of course it is possible to visit the Taj Mahal without a guide, but especially with the difficult weather that morning, having him with us made everything much easier and more convenient. After the Taj Mahal, he offered us a few optional possibilities, including visiting a local marble workshop to see how traditional marble inlay work is made. What we especially appreciated was that he explained clearly what we would see and what to expect, without putting any pressure on us to go or to buy anything. This made the experience feel genuine and relaxed rather than commercial. Overall, Zuhaib was a very knowledgeable, considerate and professional guide who helped us enjoy the Taj Mahal even on a rainy monsoon morning. We would happily recommend him.
