Best Tour Company and Guide for St. Catherine’s and Mt. Sinai!

Outstanding experience! They reached out to us (repeatedly) about six months prior to our trip just to make sure we were in synch. Then, once in Cairo, it was a well organized and extremely comfortable and safe experience. Our assigned guide, Osama Gaama, was very knowledgeable and made certain that our entire trip was well planned. He simply cares, and he made certain to provide us with a great deal of fascinating insight into Egyptian culture. The Sinai is not your usual tourist adventure - with numerous checkpoints on the route - but Osama and Sun Pyramids worked everything out seamlessly. I don’t write reviews very often, but I’m making an exception for them!

Response from the operator: We truly appreciate your kind words and support, Mr. Matthew. We are proud that our tour leader, Osama, was able to assist you effectively and contribute to creating an exceptional and memorable experience for you

Great adventure from Cairo to St Catherine’s Monastery in Sinai . Overnight in accommodation with a start onto the mountain at midnight. Osama and driver from Sun Pyramid Tours really looked after us and our guide up and down the mountain (Ali) was a star. This trip is physically demanding but spiritually rewarding. A must do if you’re in Egypt. Many thanks again to Ali, Osama and driver. Sun Pyramid tours.

A Very Special Experience- Mt. Sinai

My dad and I wanted to end our time in Egypt with something truly special and we could not have chosen a better experience than the Mount Sinai sunrise hike, guided by the incredible Mohammed Italiano, and driven safely by Abdul Bakr. From the very beginning Muhammad was not just a tour guide, but a genuinely warm and pleasant companion. His deep knowledge, kind spirit and attention to detail made the journey, smooth, meaningful, and memorable. He insured we were comfortable and informed every step of the way, and his passion, for the region truly shines through. We also want to highlight Abdul, who was more than just a driver. He was a constant source of support throughout the trip. Always willing to lend a hand, Abdul made sure we were taken care of, offering refreshments at just the right moments, and bringing a sense of calm and hospitality that made the long journey even more enjoyable. The hike itself was a magical experience. Reaching the summit of Mount Sinai to witness sunrise over the Majestic Egyptian landscape, felt like one of the greatest fulfillment in life, serene, spiritual, and awespiring. If you are looking for a way to conclude your adventure in the Land of the Pharaohs on a deeply meaningful and unforgettable note, this is the tour you want. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Thank you Mohammed and Abdul for making this experience one we will cherish forever!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your Kind words. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your trip to "Mt. Sinai" in Egypt with Sun Pyramids and look forward to welcoming you back to Egypt. We are also proud that our Representative, Mohamed, and our driver, Abdul Bakr, met your expectations and contributed to an extraordinary experience.

From Cairo - Overnight To St Catherine Monastery and Mount Sinai.: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.

How much does From Cairo - Overnight To St Catherine Monastery and Mount Sinai. cost?

+

Prices start at $160 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does From Cairo - Overnight To St Catherine Monastery and Mount Sinai. take?

+

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.

Is From Cairo - Overnight To St Catherine Monastery and Mount Sinai. worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule From Cairo - Overnight To St Catherine Monastery and Mount Sinai.?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is From Cairo - Overnight To St Catherine Monastery and Mount Sinai. suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book From Cairo - Overnight To St Catherine Monastery and Mount Sinai.?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does From Cairo - Overnight To St Catherine Monastery and Mount Sinai. start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cairo?

+

On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cairo?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cairo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
