    Great tour to visit Patton

Our guides were very flexible and the tour was exactly what we were looking for to visit Pattons grave and the American cemetary in Luxembourg.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review, we have shared it with the team!

    BASTONGE

We started with lunch. We were charged for the guide's food! Next, stop paid for entry to the battle field, which seemed to be based on Band of Brother's series. Patton museum is interesting and small. The last stop Bastonge War Museum, which we paid $54 entrance fee, was closed upon our arrival. There is no place to request a refund. Buyer beware. You are paying for transportation only.

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We would like to provide some clarifications regarding the points you raised: -It is by no means mandatory to invite the guide to lunch. If this occurred, it would have been by mutual agreement between you and the guide. -The final stop on the tour was not the museum itself, but rather the adjacent Mardasson Memorial. The entrance fee you paid was for a single ticket granting access to all museum sites in Bastogne, such as Bois Jacques and the Bastogne War Museum. This unified ticket is required for entry to Bois Jacques, a legendary site of the Battle of Bastogne. It is important to note that: -Our team consisted of two people dedicated exclusively to your group: a private driver and a guide. You were therefore not only paying for transportation, but for a fully organized and personalized tour, with staff available to you for almost 11 hours. -We offered you complimentary admission to the Patton Museum, valued at €20, so you could enjoy a guided visit of the site. -We made a 130 km detour to visit a location not included in the original itinerary, at no additional cost to you. -Our team stayed with you 1 hour and 15 minutes beyond the scheduled time to ensure you had a comprehensive experience. This extra time, valued at approximately €180, was provided free of charge. As a result, your total experience lasted 10 hours and 45 minutes instead of the planned 9 hours and 30 minutes. Thank you for your understanding. Best regards, Management Team

    Too much “in car” time.

Lots of time on the road to Patten gravesite and unknown soldiers’ site. Great museum to tour on our own.

Battle of the Bulge as if we were there!

Great tour in the footsteps of the Battle of the Bulge! You can clearly see the hardness of the fighting by visiting these unforgettable sites and still we had neither snow nor freezing wind! These places of remembrance carried us in the footsteps of the brave Americans who came to free us. Many thanks to our guide who, through his explanations, made us relive these difficult moments of the fighting. Bastogne will remain in our memories for a long time!!

    A real pilgrimage

Everything is taken care of for us, the car picked us up from the hotel, and the guide handled everything. I enjoyed being guided as I spend my day monitoring and planning as an independent contractor. I learned a lot about the history of the Battle of the Bulge and what the soldiers experienced, including the intense weather conditions. It’s a plus to have done it in the winter and I recommend doing it during the month of December. And finally, museums are very immersive

Response from the operator: Merci à vous, j'espère que vous avez passé un bon moment avec Rodolfo!- LH, founder

From Brussels: Patton & Battle of the Bulge Tour (LUX+BE): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Brussels.

How much does From Brussels: Patton & Battle of the Bulge Tour (LUX+BE) cost?

    +

Prices start at $329 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Brussels usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does From Brussels: Patton & Battle of the Bulge Tour (LUX+BE) take?

    +

Plan for about 9.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Brussels is not rushed.

Is From Brussels: Patton & Battle of the Bulge Tour (LUX+BE) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Brussels, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule From Brussels: Patton & Battle of the Bulge Tour (LUX+BE)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is From Brussels: Patton & Battle of the Bulge Tour (LUX+BE) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book From Brussels: Patton & Battle of the Bulge Tour (LUX+BE)?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Brussels can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Brussels and add a light layer if any part of the 9.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does From Brussels: Patton & Battle of the Bulge Tour (LUX+BE) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Brussels within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Brussels?

    +

On Outty we rank every Brussels experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hungry Mary's Famous Beer and Chocolate Tour in Brussels, Brussels: Historical Walking Tour with Chocolate & Waffle Tasting, Brussels Chocolate Beer Waffle and Belgian Whiskey All-in-One (Small Group) Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Brussels?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Brussels?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
