disappointing bus tour that should have been way better
this bus tour went to interesting historic sites and a unique "venetian" style fishing town. However, the meet up location was a bit confusing due to many tour buses parked in same area- we were given only the overall address of the "square", but not the bus/operator name or name of tour guide or how to find him. he suddently appeared at one corner and started calling names of people on his list and we luckliy heard and walked to that corner of the street. The guide also did not enter any historic site with us -thought he would do this. also the audio guide did not work well and one site and it kept disconnecting. hard to understand what we were looking at with no information.

Excellent small group daytrip from Athens to Mycenae, Epidaurus and Nafplio.
We had a wonderful day trip to Mycenae, Epidaurus and Nafplio! Our guide, Orpheus, was terrific: knowledgeable, informative, engaging, and fun. The day trip is well paced, with enough time to explore the archeological sites and also have a well-timed, nice lunch break and walk in the beautiful town of Nafplio. Highly recommended!

It was a mix of education pertaining to artifacts and cultural experience. The food was excellent in Nafplio.

Great organized trip to different places
This was a great trip with lots of things to see and do. Mycene, Nafplio and Epidaurus are great places to visit. And there even was a short stop at the Korinth Canal. The guide was very nice and very knowledgeable. Gave a lot of interesting information about (ancient) Greece. And drove very pleasantly.

There is a driver who...
There is a driver who gives some information on sites visited but he does not guide you around. Also needs a microphone so people in the back of the vehicle can hear.

How long does From Athens: Small-Group Mycenae, Epidaurus & Nafplio Trip take?

Is From Athens: Small-Group Mycenae, Epidaurus & Nafplio Trip worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 230 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book From Athens: Small-Group Mycenae, Epidaurus & Nafplio Trip?
+
Around 81 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis, Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Acropolis E-bike Tour With Entrance Tickets. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
