Tour of Lake Atitlan was AMAZING but Car service was unprofessional
Alex was an absolutely phenomenal tour guide and the entire experience OF Lake Atitlán was nothing short of spectacular. However, the pickup/dropoff experience and transit to the lake were very unorganized. We confirmed our pickup location in the booking and they removed it being told it was too far outside of the city (it was a 5 minute drive to the next pickup location) When I tried to get in touch with the company to confirm where we would be picked up- the company was non-responsive on the two platforms I used. Late the evening before we were told where to go for pickup after a ton of reaching out on our behalf. It was clear we were on some type of shared shuttle- there were other people not on our tour and the entire thing was very confusing On the way back the car that dropped us off stopped for 30 minutes at a gas station in the middle of nowhere and made us all get out/to drop people off? Additionally, instead of the expedition quoted as ending at 5:30 we didn't get back to our hotel until 7:20pm. There was also no heads up on how bumpy the road was which caused someone on the bus to get sick due to the bumpiness of the road All in all the actual experience of Lake Atitlán was phenomenal but I would encourage the company to use a different drop off/pickup service as the entire thing was super unprofessional

It was an excellent service, always on time, fun stores to buy souvenirs, and gorgeous views around Atitlan lake. my recommendation, buy chocolate at the first stop, you won't regret it.

A must do!
We had a great day on this tour! There were so many activities, and we were busy the entire time. The day started with a 5:30 a.m. pickup from our hotel. After picking up other guests at several hotels, we left Antigua at 6:00 a.m. and arrived at our starting point around 8:20 a.m. It is a long drive, but the scenery is beautiful, and it gives you a chance to see more of Guatemala outside of Antigua. Kevin was our guide and spoke wonderful English. He was easy to listen to and shared great stories and information about the history and culture of the area. Breakfast was simple and tasty, and they kept the coffee flowing! We really enjoyed the chocolate tour and the honey tour, but the highlight for us was definitely the weaving tour. She was so thorough, and it was unlike any tour we had experienced before. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything, but we couldn't help ourselves! This tour is definitely a must-do. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful lake and villages! You can easily spend 3 days here!
Great tour of a couple villages! Lunch location (not included) had very good food! In Sandiago, the tuk tuk tour was not arranged because the guide did not ask when we were eating lunch. It was an option we decided to do that would cost extra, but it was not realized and we would have seen even more places.
