Fantastic and Rich Tour Experience.
We had a fantastic guide - Abel, a 22 year old university student who grew up on the island and knew the history and culture of the island through and through. His English was perfect. He took us to see so many interesting place on the island. The car was clean and he was a great driver. When it was lunch time, he asked us what we wanted to eat and took us to a wonderful place where there were no tourists. The fee for this trip was very reasonable. I would use Spot tours again. We felt we really had a great understanding of Terceira by the end of the day. It is a beautiful island.

Beautiful tour of the island of Terceira!
We had such a great tour with Tiago. He made the experience extra special. We felt like we really got to know Terceira in one day. Highly recommended.

From Small Group to Private Escape
One of the main reasons we chose this tour was its promise of a small group experience. As it turned out, the group couldn’t have been smaller—we were the only participants that day! To our delight, it unexpectedly became a private tour. Our guide, a young lady named Madalena, was absolutely wonderful. She shared fascinating insights into the island’s history and tailored the schedule to suit our pace and interests, since it was just the two of us. The weather was perfect, and we came away having seen and learned so much. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this tour!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your experience!

Fantastic island day trip
We found this to be a superb way to see the island. We were lucky to have Fabi as our guide who shared much of the history and culture of the island with us. She adapted the tour to suit our interests and the weather which can sometimes unavoidably remove some options. We were able to discover some hidden gems which alone with a hire car we could never have hoped to find.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words!

A great guide and advocate for the island
Madalena was a superb guide. She was very kind and thoughtful and taught us much about the history, culture and politics of Terceira. Her passion for the island really shone through. We both thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learned a lot from it. Many thanks.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your tour with Madalena and appreciated her passion and knowledge about Terceira.

From Angra: Terceira Island Full-Day Tour (Shared Tour): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Terceira.
How much does From Angra: Terceira Island Full-Day Tour (Shared Tour) cost?
+
Prices start at $118 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Terceira usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does From Angra: Terceira Island Full-Day Tour (Shared Tour) take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Terceira is not rushed.
Is From Angra: Terceira Island Full-Day Tour (Shared Tour) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Terceira, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule From Angra: Terceira Island Full-Day Tour (Shared Tour)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is From Angra: Terceira Island Full-Day Tour (Shared Tour) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book From Angra: Terceira Island Full-Day Tour (Shared Tour)?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Terceira can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Terceira and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does From Angra: Terceira Island Full-Day Tour (Shared Tour) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Terceira within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Terceira?
+
On Outty we rank every Terceira experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Island Van Tour (Full Day) | Terceira Island, Private Terceira Island Full Day Tour, Terceira Island: Full Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Terceira?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Terceira?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
