    Toroudant Excursion

Our tour of Taroudant, Morocco 🇲🇦 started with a slow departure from the ship, but both the driver and tour manager kept in contact with us. After a shuttle dropped us in a rather obscure location in Agadir, our driver, Rashid, came to find us at the original pickup point. Taroudant is over an hour away, with a drive through an arid landscape dotted with agricultural areas and small towns, while the Atlas Mountains rise in the distance. The scenery was not particularly beautiful, but the destination was worth seeing. Taroudant dates back over 1,000 years and is known for its historic walls, traditional souks, and authentic Moroccan culture. Our local guide took us through the city and souk, offering a glimpse into daily life and the area's history. We're glad we had the opportunity to explore this fascinating walled city!
