Exquisite Experience, Highly Recommended!
Tour Guide: AMAZING! Mainor our guide arrived early for pick up. He’a very knowledgeable and shared intelligent facts about our tour. Coffee & Chocolate Tour: FANTASTIC! It was organized and done in a very thoughtful manner. Genesis discussed the details, geography, indigenous process and lots of educational tidbits about coffee and chocolate! The owner Rosbin also showed us the process of how they make artisanal coffee and chocolate. It’s very well done in a sophisticated manner. Waterfall Tour: GREAT! We had a chance to swim in Cortez waterfalls and there was not a lot of people which almost felt like we had a private waterfall access! Lunch: DELICIOSO! We didn’t have to wait for too long because Mainor called in our lunch order a few minutes before we arrived at the restaurant. Rainforest Tour: WONDERFUL! Our guide Jessie is very knowledgeable and we found FOUR sloths in less than 30 minutes! We also saw some poison dart frog, sleeping tree frog and eyelash viper! After all the tours we did, Mainor even brought us to El Jardin where we bought some beautiful souvenirs, coffee, and Salsa Lizano to take home! This tour was most definitely an exquisite experience and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica! Pura Vida!

Sloth/Frog/Coffee&chocolate/waterfall tour
Manuel went above and beyond. We got to go to rainforest where we saw several sloths, snakes, frogs, and foliage with informative explanations. He took us to eat a traditional meal which was wonderful. Our coffee and chocolate tour with history of both plants and got to assist in making coffee/hot chocolate. We then made several stops along the way to see wildlife including a toucan and herons. He took us to waterfall where we ended our day. Cannot recommend Manuel and this tour enough! He was incredibly knowledgeable and hospitable.

Our family had a great...
Our family had a great day with Manuel from pickup at our villa through to drop off. Chocolate and Coffee was a great way to start the day and was a good pick me up following the first leg. Next we swam at the beautiful waterfall but the sloths, frogs and snakes were the star of the day. Thanks for a great outing none of us will soon forget.

Why this scores 88
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Frogs-Sloths-waterfall-Coffee and Chocolate Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Playa Flamingo.
How much does Frogs-Sloths-waterfall-Coffee and Chocolate Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Playa Flamingo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Frogs-Sloths-waterfall-Coffee and Chocolate Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Playa Flamingo is not rushed.
Is Frogs-Sloths-waterfall-Coffee and Chocolate Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 271 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Playa Flamingo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Frogs-Sloths-waterfall-Coffee and Chocolate Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Frogs-Sloths-waterfall-Coffee and Chocolate Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Frogs-Sloths-waterfall-Coffee and Chocolate Tour?
+
Around 95 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Playa Flamingo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Playa Flamingo and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Frogs-Sloths-waterfall-Coffee and Chocolate Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Playa Flamingo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Playa Flamingo?
+
On Outty we rank every Playa Flamingo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Flamingo, Guanacaste All Inclusive Catamaran Snorkel Adventure, Tropical Rainforest, Hanging Bridges And Jungle Sloths Sanctuary, Flamingo Family Fun Catamaran Snorkel:Comfortable shaded seating. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Playa Flamingo?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Playa Flamingo?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
